I heard the birds chirping and heard the car restarting. I flung my eyes open, ready to pounce.

"Calm down," Freya said smiling.

I looked at her for the longest time before understanding what was going on. Across her was her brother and beside me, Warona.

"Where are we going?" I dared to ask.

No one responded, instead Motheo just started driving. I peeked outside my window and watched as the car moved further and further from where we were. It was silent. I didn't want to break the silence, if no one wanted to talk to me, I wasn't going to force them.

Thirty minutes went by and we were still driving.

"You guys hungry?" Motheo finally asked. "There's a MacDonald's store right here if you guys want anything, it's alright, I'll pay."

To  be frank, I was starving, but I didn't want to talk to any of them. Especially not Motheo, not after what I heard last night. He turned back to look at me after everyone had agreed to get something there. I blinked.

They got out the car and I watched them walk off into the fast food store. About fifteen minutes later, they're walking out big bags of food in their hands. I wondered who else they were trying to feed, because we didnt need that much food right now.

Warona was the first one in the car, then the siblings.

Motheo handed me some food, and I took it with force.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Thanks," I murmured.

He just looked at me, puzzled, and continued with life. I zoned out again once I took an amazing bite into my burger.  Motheo started the car again and kept driving, before stopping at a motel.

I only realised where we were once everyone was already outside the car. I got out and looked around.

"What are we doing here?" I asked blankly.

"It's a motel." Motheo replied.

I just looked at him.

"Clearly, but you aren't answering the question." I snapped.

"What do people usually do at motels?" He snapped back.

I started walking away,

"I'm sorry," he whispered.

"I've been gone for four years, my memory's all gone, you think I remember what people do at motels?" I whispered back.

"You don't need your memory to know this," Freya snapped standing up for her brother.

I rolled my eyes and kept going.

"Where are you going?" Warona questionned.

"Away from negativity. I can live my life." I screamed while getting clear out of sight.

I didn't even look back and if they said anything after, I didn't hear. Mainly because I didn't care anymore. I kept going, till I saw a park. I walked over there and sat on a bench. I looked around and I started zoning out again.
