We walked slowly back to the motel.
Motheo and Freya were silent and I kept trying to apologize. Nothing seemed to work, because Motheo wouldn't even look at me. To be honest, I don't know what I'm sorry about because clearly I was not supposed to be helped by these people. I guess none of them had gained the courage to speak for a while. But Motheo finally spoke up.
"Why do you keep doing that?" he asked.
"Doing what?" I responded.
"Running away" Freya whispered.
I was silent for a while.
"It's in my blood." I whispered back.
"We're trying to help you and you keep denying it." Freya snapped.
"Do you enjoy knowing that we're attached to helping you?" Motheo snapped as well.
"Well, I'm sorry, I didn't realise that there was all of a sudden something to get attached to." I snapped back.
Motheo just blinked. And I heavily sighed while Freya just kept going.
We finally reached the motel and we walked in. Freya entered the double room that we had apparently rented for the night. I reached my hand out to twist the nob when Motheo whispered my name. I turned to him.
"What do you mean?"
"I heard you Motheo. You told Warona that there's nothing to get attached to. So I honestly don't understand why you won't just leave me alone then." I said.
"Unathi," he repeated.
"You can't just keep repeating my name man!" I silently shouted.
He just looked at me.
"Argh." I opened the door and entered. And I could feel his presence right behind me.
We turned in for the night. And this time, I actually fell asleep first.
