A week later (yes it's been a week)
Maria's POV
"Sooo,..." I said looking at Doctor G
"What now?!" He rolled his eyes and looked at me coldly
"Well there's not a lot of food down here.. and I'm kinda hungry..." I patted my stomach and smiled
"Sigh, fine well go get some food, after your done taking notes!" He said and he looked back at the computer.
"Okay" I smiled and walked back to the skeleton monster. "Umm what else... maybe I could find out your gender... but how?.." I looked at the skeleton, then I saw that it's bones were small...I gasped and ran passed the doctor to x-ray room, and got an x-ray of myself and then persuaded the Doctor to get an x-ray. I looked at the bones, from the arms the legs, the jaw line, and of course the pelvis. I wrote down what I found and walked to Doctor G. "Alright Doc, take me to lunch!" I smiled
"Sigh, Get your jacket, it gonna be cold." He said putting on his grey sweater on top of his lab coat.
"Okay" I said and got my red sweater. And we walked out in the cold, my cheeks burned coldly as the light cold breeze touched my cheeks and nose. "And Let's go to the store too, I wanna buy a few things." I said as I rubbed my hands together
"Fine.." was all he said. We walked into Taco Bell! And I got two small burritos coke and some of those cinnamon things, there good, but I don't know what there called... cinnamon twist? Then Doctor G got some tacos, a quesadilla and a Doc. pepper. Then we started walking to the store. I got more food, more water, some cloths, soap, and lots and lots of yarn.
"What is up with the yarn?" Doctor G asked
"Well if you must now.. I am going to use it!" I smiled
"For what exactly?" He asked with a twitch in his eye.
"It's a surprise!" I said we walked out the store and walked back home- I mean back to the lab!! We walked back to the lab in a comfortable silence
"So what did you find out about the monster, assistant.." Doctor G asked
"Well, I found out that the skeleton is a female" I smiled
"And how did you manage to find that out?" Doctor G asked
"W-well, I was wondering how I was going to find out the gender, but when I looked at the skeletons arms the bones where small, I was wondering why it was small when it's a quite large skeleton, I thought I figured it out, but I had to make sure, so I did an X-ray on myself and on you, I looked at our bones, and I saw that female bones a thinner and male bones are thicker, not only that but the pelvis was also different." I smiled as I explained how I found out the skeletons gender.
"Hmm interesting I never really thought of taking an x-ray... good work Assistant." He patted my head and opened the door to the lab
"A pat on the head? What am I a dog?" I smirked as I walked in the lab.
"No, just consider your self my partner in crime.." then he walked away.
"Partners in crime... I like it just wish you'd say my name..." I smiled and started putting everything away, when I was done a started eating my burrito. I ate my food as I looked at the skeleton float in the...water?.... it looked peaceful. Calm. But when I was about to look away I saw a flash of blue and lilac.. I was confused, I put my burrito down and walked to the tube. I could not really see the color, yet I could see it clearly. Light blue and lilac, I didn't understand, it looked like it was in the water, yet on the glass, I reached my hand and touched the glass, at first it was ice cold, but it became a comforting coolness. Then the lilac became a circle around my hand within the glass and started to glow.

Wades POV (remember the docs name?)
I looked at my assistant's notes, she is doing very well... I should have meet her long ago. I smiled softly as I put down the notes.
"My assistant, is rather interesting, but confusing at the same time. She is creative, and observant well behaved yet...acts like a child, but she dose have her...cold moments.." I rotated my chair away from my desk. "And she pulls pranks and says horrible jokes...but she is doing a good job so far." Just then I felt a cold chill go down my spine. Something doesn't feel right, I walked out of my working space to check on my assistant. As I walked closer to the test room, I saw a faint purple glow, when I turned to corner, I saw my assistant touching the glass tube holding the skeleton, the light purple glow seemed to enter her body. I ran to her grabbing her wrist I could feel my body gone cold, was about to scream her name when the glowing stopped and she stubbled back falling to the ground. I quickly ran to her side to check her pulse. I could barely feel it, I picked her up and ran to the emergency room, and did the best I could.

Time skip

Maria's POV (yes back to Maria!)
I opened my eye slowly, I closed them again and shifted my body, huddling underneath the blanket......wait....blanket? I opened my eyes and sat up, I was in bed... but I was in the bed in the emergency room... why?
"I see your awake now" I turned to Doctor G
"Doctor? What happened?! Omg did I fall asleep?! I'm so sorry it won't happen again!-"
"Calm down" G laughed "you knocked out" he said calmly
"Knocked out? How?" I asked
"You touched the glass that held the skeleton, it was glowing a lilac color which is magic, and so your body absorbed the magic..."
"So.. I have powers now?!" I smiled
"No yet... you didn't die so that means you could possibly get powers.." he said as he looked away
"Wait... I could have died?.."
"Yes.. the last person who touched the magic from that skeleton is dead.." he said softly
"May I ask who it was..." I asked, he didn't speak for few seconds, but then answered in a whisper
"It was my father.." then he walked away leaving me in the emergency room.
