It's been a week and Wade is still in a coma.. as a scientist and assistant, I researched as much as I could on Magic. It was definitely hard to find anything. But the skeleton seemed connected to this magic we now possess. I've been monitoring her to find out more about it and her species, hopefully giving me clues to wake wade from his comatose state.

"I'm missing something..." I growled to myself as I looked threw my notes. I rolled away to a different table to look at note taken from years back. "I have to be missing something!" I slammed my hand on the table. I looked back at the skeleton I got up and stomped over to the tube. "Why! Why is this that you finally wake up after all these years! There is not one record of you waking up or giving others magic! So why us?" I yelled standing in front of the tube, I grit my teeth in anger as the little skeleton moved her head to the side clearly confused. Then my timer went off. I took out my phone and read "practice" I stopped the alarm and walked off into a different room.

It was a large white room, with machines, burn marks, cages, targets. I closed my eyes and breathed deeply. I could feel my hands become cold, and my eyes slowly heated because of the magic. I opened my eyes and a large purple canon appeared next to me.

-Time skip-

I gasped for air as a kneeled down on the ground. My phone rang, I took out my phone, "Wade". I smiled and walked out of the room. I grabbed my clipboard and started writing down notes as I walking to the emergency room.

The skeleton still has not spoken, and still seems to not understand what I say, I have been working hard to understand magic, I'm not completely sure if all magic is related to this monsters magic, there are many healing magic that I have yet to perfect. Even so I know I am getting stronger, I managed to conjure a canon and a tank, I know that I can't summon weapons easily, most likely Wade could be able to conjure them much better then I.

I sighed and walked into the room. I put down the clipboard and walked next to Wade. I checked his vitals, which seemed to be normal. I sighed in relief and sat next to him. Patting his head, moving his hair from his face. I grabbed my bag from under his bed and took out yarn, and my needles, and started to continue my work as I waited next to him waiting for him to wake up.
After an hour I walked out of the emergency room, and walked to my room, and went into a deep slumber.

Wade's POV

I opened my eyes it was dark, and cold. I sat up and looked around. I was in the emergency room.

"Most likely because of the injuries I obtained after the fall down the stairs...." I whispered to myself. I got up slowly and unhooked myself from the machine and walked out of the emergency room. Into the lab, I looked around in the empty room.  A light glow illuminated from the center of the room, where the skeleton was being held I looked up at the skeleton and was shocked to see it starred back at me. It's hollow eye sockets gave a soft purple glow as it tilted its head to the side. I could feel my eyes burn a bit. My eyes became watery, but I let no tear fall. I looked at my reflection on the glass of the tube where the monster was being held, and saw that my eyes where glowing a blue color, I looked back up at the monster.

"You did this to me..." I stepped back and sat down on a chair. "After years of you sleeping, showing no signs of waking... Why now?.." I looked down at my hands "and why did you give me these.... magic abilities" I looked up.

The skeleton tilted its head to the side as it's eye sockets still glowed. It put its boney hand on the glass. I got up and walked closer, but walked around the tube. The monster still looked forward. As if it was looking at something else. I soon realized it was looking at something else. Not me, not anything outside the tube, it was looking at its own reflection. I put my hand on the glass hesitantly.

"You don't even know what you are... do you?.." I watched as it tilted its head still looking at its own reflection.
