Maria's POV
It's been 24 hours since Doctor G told me about his fathers death, and i was still in the emergency room, I've tried to get up and get back to work, but the Doc won't let me leave until he's sure that I'm okay. He's such a softy! Currently I'm sitting on the emergency bed eating-trying to eat, as the Doc checks my blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing rate. It's annoying but I don't blame him, he's worried... I take a bite out of my burrito, as he checked my heart rate
"Sigh, must you eat right this minute?" He asked as he continued to check my heart rate.
"Yes, I'm hungry!" I complained "when can I get back to work, I'm bored!"
"Normally people would be pleased about not doing work.." he laughed
"Well I'm not normal! And I never want to be normal!" I yelled
"No need to shout..." he smiled
"What up with you? Your being awfully nice.." I raised my brow
"Assistant, your in a bad condition I need to take care of you" he said calmly
"That's BS!! Treat me like you've always have!!" I yelled he turned to me shock written on his face ".....sorry.." I whispered and looked away
"You shouldn't be, I haven't exactly been nice to you, you have every right to yell at me..." he looked away.
"......" I looked at his hand and moved mine closer to his and held on to him, he quickly looked at our hands then at me "....thank you...you know.... for taking care of me.." I said looking down, I could feel heat on my cheeks. My chin still down I looked up at him. I could see his cheeks where just a bit red and he smiled.
"Heh, it's okay pup." He said as he patted my head.
"What am I a dog?.." I smiled
"No... your my partner in crime.." he smiled and walked away leaving me in the emergency room again. I laid down and looked at my hand, I could feel heat return to my cheeks. I smiled and closed my eyes.

Wade's POV
I closed the door to the emergency room and looked at my hand, I smiled... I walked to my office and looked over the notes. I drank some coffee and picked up the notes to read them, but I immediately put them down, I didn't want to look at them.. I walked to the skeleton monster, and dropped my cup, making it shatter on the ground,  the skeleton was awake. It looked at me oddly, i ignored that look and bent down to pick up the broken cup, but I quickly noticed that both my had and the shattered pieces glowed blue, confused i looked at the skeleton there eyes glowed a blue color, i looked closer at the glass and saw my reflection, i to had glowing blue eyes, had i gained powers as well!? i was unsure, the skeleton looked at my hand, i also looked down and saw that my broken cup was floating about five inches off the floor, i gasped and stood up slowly, the cup following my movement. i was memorized by this i almost didn't hear maria yelled out my name, my real name... she's never called me by my real name......!? i turned and ran to the emergency room, leaving the skeleton. i opened the door and ran in, to see everything floating in a lilac color.

"wade!!' i heard maria yell, "whats going on?!'

"it is your magic! you must control it" i said looking up at the floating bed

"i don't know how!!!" as she panics object start moving rapidly braking into the wall or falling "wade!!' maria yelled terrified, i was getting upset, the fact that maria was getting scared isn't making me feel better, some how i activated my powers and tried to stopped this madness, soon half the object in the room were blue, " wade your eyes are blue!?" maria yelled i looked in the mirror that maria had broke next to me, she was right, but as soon as i looked away everything became darker. i saw people i the room, i was my father... but he died... they were all walking so the table exept on man who silently took his phone out and took pictures of all the hard work my father did, he was going to sell my fathers work for money! i was engaged and started attacking the man with my new abilities but everything just wen threw him.

maria's pov

I looked at wade worriedly as he started using his magic on everything in the room he could see, I tried calling his name but he wouldn't listen. I had no choice but to try to use my powers, I extended my hand out and contracted soon a lilac color engulfed my hand soon wade was also covered by my magic. It felt different it wasn't heavy but it wasn't light either.

"W-wade you need to stop, whats wrong!?" I yelled, but he started to thrash around tring to get free. I jumped off the bed the was still floating and hugged wade, suddenly I was light as a feather. I let go of wade, and we were in the lab area, the skeleton looked at us, it was awake!? I looked at wade and he held his head in pain, he stumbles back and fell down stairs. I cried out his name and ran down stairs, I looked at how badly hurt he was. A popped shoulder, cracked head, and lots of bruises. I sit there for about ten minutes till picked him up slowly putting his arm around my neck, I looked up the stairs, then thought about before. I closed my eyes and concentrated I could feel a warmth covering my whole body, soon I was light as a feather once more. I thought about the emergency room, then I was heavy once more, the warm feeling slowly fading away, I opened my eyes to see the emergency room, the bed was still flowing. I looked at the bed and it slowly came down, then, when it was fully on the ground, I laid Wade down on the bed.
I moved his hair back to show his eyes, i smiled lightly. "I will do my best to help you.." then I started to treat his wounds.
