"So what are you saying? Everyone's gonna start acting like a pack?" Dean managed to ask.
"Basically everyones gonna act depending on if they're an alpha, beta or omega," Sam answered, whatever that meant, a perplexed look taking over his face.
Dean shifted uncomfortably on the couch. He couldn't be the only one smelling this thickness in the air, this...arousal. Sam had to be smelling it as well, maybe he was just ignoring it.
"Does it smell kinda...? I mean..." Sam was blushing, looking from Castiel to Dean. When he got no answer he coughed,"Guys I can't be the only one who..." a look of clarity came across Sam's face as he stepped closer to Castiel, sniffing the air around him,"Are you in heat? Both of you?"
"Sam, I-" Castiel tried to explain but Sam interrupted,
"are you attractedto my brother? Is that why this is happening? You can't just-"
"Sam let me explain," with this, Sam closed his mouth.
He seemed impatient, crossing his arms and frowning.
"I-you should leave Sam," Castiel looked at the ground, what was he planning?
"What? No, I'm not gonna leave you here alone with my brother!"
"Now,"Castiel pressed, a growl seeping into his voice.
Sam looked between his brother and the angel, a clear look of frustration before he stormed up the stairs of the bunker, slamming the door behind him.
Dean shrunk in the soft, wanting to melt into it. He was alone with an alpha Castiel, his alpha. Dean had never been more scared in his life. His heart skipped a beat when the angel turned to face him, face flushed and jaw set. Castiel walked around the couch, eyeing Dean with a predatory stare, taking him in.
"W-why did you send Sam away?" Dean stuttered, internallycursing himself for being so scared right now.
C'mon, this was Cas. Nerdy Cas who didn't even know how to use proper protection.
"He shouldn't be here for what's going to happen next."
