Dean ran the water hot. As soon as he stepped under it he yelled and turned the faucet off. He looked at his skin, it was turning red already.
"What the hell?" He murmured to himself.
He always had the water this hot and it had never hurt so much before. Somewhere in the back of his mind Dean could still hear the witchs last words in his mind, the shrill voice before he had run her through with his knife, cursing him and everyone on this bloody planet. He switched the tap back on, this time at a cooler setting before stepping inside. He washed the layers of grime off and sighed. It felt good to be clean. He had hated being locked in that cell, forced to pee in a bucket and not being able to stay clean like some kind of animal. He squeezed out some shampoo, ready to mix it into his hair but the scent was overwhelming. Dean let it slide off his hand and decided to just wash his hair with hot water. A couple of minutes later he was wrapped in a towel and kicked his clothes into the laundry basket. He went to his room to change into some clean ones. He heard the bang of a door and turned. Nobody but him was in his room. He could have sworn it was so close by. Dean hurriedly changed into clothes. The sudden waft of food flooded his nostrils, causing his stomach to growl. He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten anything.
Dean rounded the corner where his brother was setting up the bags of food at one of the tables.
"Burgers? You know me so well," Dean's mouth was watering. He could smell the meat from here and he was starving. He quickly picked up the closest burger and was about to put it in his mouth before he caught another scent. A scent that made his heart flutter, he turned. Where was it coming from?
