Song of Mischief

Chapter 4

  Loki's pov
"Melody?" I asked without a second thought. This girl could not be my Melody, right? "I am sorry but I think you have me confused with someone else. My name is (Y/N)." the maiden said. I then vanished without explanation. I came back to the Midgardians home and looked for my brother. "Thor! Where are you? I found her!" I screamed. Thor came running to the steps. "Found who brother?" he asked. "Melody! She is here! On Midgard!" I said. Then a knock came on the front door. I opened it and was greeted by Melody. Or (Y/N). "Hello again. Darcy, I came with your books!" she shouted. "Melody" my brother foolishly asked. Then the Midgardians came in."Oh (Y/N). This is Thor and Loki." Darcy said. "They keep calling me Melody. Wait did you say Loki? I know that name from somewhere." she said. Darcy and Jane looked like they had seen a spectre. Melody gave the books to Darcy, and while she was leaving she sneezed. "You are catching a cold from the weather. Stay here for the night." Darcy and Jane offered. "Are you sure?" (Y/N) asked."No problem." Darcy said. Whatever that means. I am sure that this is Melody and I am going to know what happened on that day. The day I almost lost her.  

(Y/N)/Melody POV 
The next morning I went to Jane's kitchen to make breakfast and I starting singing. Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I can't help falling in love with you. Just then, while I was singing, Loki walked and started to sing as well. Shall I stay, would it be a sin? But I can't help falling in love with you. As the river flows softly to the sea, darling so it goes somethings are meant to be. Take my hand, take my whole life too. For I can't help falling in love with you. For I, no I can't help falling in love with you. Both of us smiled, but not for long. My head started to hurt as memories started coming back to me. Loki looked terrified and worried. I then remembered him and me. Me singing, him singing, going into battle with him and Thor. When it ended I was on the floor with Loki kneeling down next to me. I hugged him and started to cry. How long had it been since the battle?

"Loki? I remember."

  3rd pov
"What happened to you? Where did you go?" Loki asked once Melody was okay. "All I remember is that I was fighting and I got knocked out. Then I was on earth and I heard my father's voice saying 'you will be safe.' and then my memories went away. All of Asgard, gone." she said. "It does not matter now. All that matters is that you have returned to me and now we are together again." Loki said. "Will you marry me?" Loki asked again. "Of course I will." Melody said. They were wed in Jane's house because anywhere else would be weird to see two gods married. And they lived happily together, but for how long?
