Loki's pov
It was now lunch and I tried looking everywhere but there was no sign of Melody anywhere. Just as I was about to give up I heard the most beautiful singing that was sweeter than my own mother's. I followed the sound to the woods, where I found a small fountain that was surrounded by small benches. I hide behind a tree to not be seen and that is when I saw Melody, sitting on one of the benches. She was the one singing? Then she started again. "Green finch and linnet bird, nightingale, blackbird, how is it you sing? How can you jubilate sitting in cages never taking wing?" She continued while I listened with great joy. "My cage has many rooms damask and dark, nothing there sings not even my lark. Larks never will you know when they're captive teach me, to be more adaptive. Ohhh ohh oho oh. Green finch and linnet bird, nightingale, blackbird, teach me how sing. If I cannot fly, let me sing." she finished. When I was out of her trance, I lost my balance and fell into her view. "Are you ok?" she asked. "You have a beautiful voice Melody." I could not stop myself from speaking the truth. She blushed and said thank you. "It is nothing but the truth fair maiden." I said. It was her first day and I was complimenting her like crazy! "I would like to ask you something." I said. "Yes?" she asked. "Could we be friends?" I asked. "Of course." she said. That was the happiest day of my life. The day I had a friend.
