Keith dropped to his knees as he put a hand to the spot where he was just shot. He stared at his blood soaked hand then he looked up and saw Lance on the floor. He slowly crawled over to him. He saw his friend was also shot and had blood dripping from his mouth.
Keith placed Lance in his lap and hugged Lance close. He felt tears welling up and before he knew it he was crying. Lance chuckled and looked up at Keith. Lance had a small smile plastered to his face, "Never knew you cared so much mullet."
"Shut up Lance," Keith said, "I care about you more than I realized." Lance leaned up ever so slightly and pecked Keith's cheek which caused Keith to cry even more. "Back at ya mullet."
"Guess Lance and Keith, neck and neck comes to an end, huh?" Lance said smiling as his eyes drifted shut. Keith shook his head, he layed down and the world faded to black as he held Lance. Wishing he could hear the name mullet one more time.
This, uh, this tore me to shreds. This was the 4th story in the kid napped notebook series. The fifth one is still in the works but these will be coming out as quick as I can considering the end of the school year is coming up.
