Prologue

I was sitting in the plane, watching the clouds. I was miles away from home. My parents had sent me to live with my aunt for a year at least, because they thought that would be the best for everyone. They just said to me they couldn't handle me or my attitude anymore.
My aunt lives in Idaho middle of potato farms and cows. I loved my aunt Rosie. She was a single lady, she had a job as a doctor couple years back, but she just quit it and moved to Twin Falls. She was so done with Chicago and the big cities in general, so Rosie thought the best place away from people would be Idaho.

I got shaken out of my thoughts by the voice over the speakers telling that we were about to land to the Boise airport in ten minutes. I was so close to my new life now. No one knew me, or where I came from. I had to admit that I loved the feeling. But I was also scared. All the schools had already started and I would start school two weeks later than everyone else, I would be the new kid, they would realise that I'm nowhere near Idaho once they heard my accent. I loved the fact that I was going to get as much attention I wanted, but that could also start rumors that I really don't need right now in my life.

I got out of the plane and got also my bags pretty fast. I walked outside and saw immediately my aunt waving her hand. She was the cutest person ever. "Frida!" she yelled as she was running torwards me with the tallest heels I've seen in a while. Middle of her run she stopoed and took her heels off and that made me laugh, because I have missed her.
She finally got to me and hugged me really tightly. "Hey Rosie", I said when I hugged her.

The whole couple hour drive to my new home Rosie was telling in Swedish how much I will love Idaho and Twin Falls, how there are so many sweet kids. She told me that she had enrolled me to the school over here and that I will definitely love it all. I wasn't so sure yet about that, because the whole moving to new country happened so fast I didn't even tell good bye to my friends back home. That tells how much my parents wanted me out of Sweden. I ran my hand through my silky long hair while thinking what my first day at school will be like. I mean I am pretty good looking and I will be a cheerleader, since my aunt talked to the coach and explained how I have done cheerleading for like six years already.
I woke from my fantasy world when the car stopped and I realized that we were already at my aunts. "Don't worry about the bags, go get some sleep you have school tomorrow ", Rosie told me and started to unpack the car.
