This sets up the basic positioning for the rest of the chest. The abs take up from below the diapragm to the bottom of the abdomen. I make basic marking for these portions.

And based upon the direction of the person, the abs should extend about a quarter of the way of the entire chest from the middle of the ribcage markings. Basically
