The variety bombards you with an insanely large amount of choices ,

How to choose…

When all seem equally tantalizing…

Each one is begging you to pick it, to chose it,

For you to be the queen of its heart.

Bottles of wine line the sidewalks as the choices pile up,

Tears fill the bottles to the brim as

Desperation takes over and the bitterness drowns you,

Using “smile” as the main theme

Seems futile, like salt in the sea.

The cynical smile looks down on you,

She paid for the entertainment And expect to get what she wants

Self-satisfied, smug, a prig

You would rather pay to see her fall

Tell me the truth

Yes you do

Because reality will soon come calling

The town soaked in red

Everyone is gone, houses empty

Say what is on your mind,

While the destruction wrecks havoc on your mind

You will become but a shell

And yet

You still want to believe

Though it is long gone

The dogs run through the town

Shooting them  on sight with no mercy

Who will bring you back? Will you find your way without them?

Would you turn your back on your friend,

A knife in the face, through the heart

Others would not back down

Face them

For the first time Mona Lisa,

Save the world.
