School

That Monday was my first day of school.

I got up at 7 in the morning to get ready, I put on my new uniform and looked at myself in the mirror and sighed, I was dressed in a white shirt with a red and yellow stripy tie (like the Gryffindor one) and a pleeted grey skirt with black, nylon tights,and if I got cold I could put on a grey, cotton jumper.

I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair and applied some blusher and mascara. I put my hair up into my usual bun, and went downstairs for breakfast.

I helped myself to some cereal, then I put on my parka and slung my bag over my shoulders and shouted behind me,

"Bye mum, bye dad! I'm going now! I'm meeting Lea down the road! "

"Ok! Bye sweetie! Have a good day!" My mum's voice came from upstairs.

I left the house and met Lea down the road where she was waiting for me.

"Bianca! There you are! You ready for your first day of school? " She questioned.

"Yeah, I guess so." I replied walking next to her.

"Good. It's great fun this school, the people I mean. The teachers and lessons are as boring as ever though. " Lea told me, kicking away a couple of stray pebbles from the tarmac pavement with her brogues.

When we got there Alex was already there with his mates, including the band, as we walked through the gates Connor turned and looked at me. Embarrassed,  I turned to Lea.

"So, uum, Con, Tris, Brad and James are in our class too?" I asked Lea, trying to hide my blushing face from Connor.

"No, only Con, and Brad only just. " She replied, staring at the boys, probably most likely at James.

"What do you mean only just?" I asked, trying to get her attention.

"Well, he's 18," she said, turning to me, "so he only just fits in with us, coz the rest of the class are 17."

"Oh, ok." I replied.

Lea walked over to the boys, signalling for me to follow.

Connor's POV

When I got to school,  James, Brad and Tris were already there,

"Saturday was so cool! You played really well man!" James congratulated me.

"Thanks, but all of you guys were much better." I replied

After a while Alex arrived.

"Hey, Alex!" Greeted James. "Where's Lea?"

I rolled my eyes at him, they had been going on like this for weeks now, they obviously liked eachother, but they never said anything!

"Oh, she's just picking up Bianca." Alex explained to James. My ears perked up at that.

"Oh, is she going to be in our class?" I asked, interested.

"Yeah, she's also 17." Alex replied.

"Haha! Still gonna be the oldest in the class then Brad!" teased Tris.

Just then I spotted Lea and Bianca walk through the gates, Bianca looked up at me then she turned away to Lea and started talking, trying to hide her face, I sighed and turned back to the boys.

Then suddenly, Lea and Bianca came towards us, Lea squeezed in between James and I so that she was next to James, and Bianca next to me.

"Hi. How are you? " I said shyly.

"Yeah, I'm fine, you?" She asked turning towards me, her cute bun bobbing up and down.

"Yeah, I'm good thanks. Ready for your first day of school?"
