Zoe and Beth

On Saturday morning I woke up to my alarm I turned it off and got out of bed, today I was going round James's house for a sleepover with Zoe and Beth, so I went to the bathroom and did the usual, then I put on an elbow length red, loose top tucked inside a denim skater skirt. I put on my shoes then I had breakfast and said goodbye to my parents, then I left.

I walked down the road where I met Beth and Zoe, we had arranged where we were going to meet beforehand.

"Hi how are you guys?" I asked, hugging them.

"Yeah I'm good, I'm really nervous though." Panicked Zoe.

"Why?" Me and Beth asked at the same time.

"Because of Brad." Zoe replied shyly.

"Oh my gosh! You like him!" shrieked Beth. Zoe nodded at her comment, and starting walking away from us, we ran after her but were told to shut up, so we did.

Zoe was wearing a corduroy, red button up skirt over a blue vest and a Cardigan. Beth was wearing blue skinny jeans with a white lace vest and an acid wash denim jacket, told you they had good fashion sense.

When we arrived at the house, the boys, Lea and Alex were already there.  "Hi!" Said Lea as she came over and hugged all the of us.

"Hi!" I said back as she went to sit down next to James.

"So, what are we going to do today?" Alex asked.

"Well, we could have a picnic ,if you want to." said Brad, directing the last part at Zoe, which she blushed at.

"Yeah, sure, but there's one thing I want to tell you," said Connor, looking at me for confirmation, I nodded and he carried on, coming over to me and putting an arm around my waist, "well, me and Bianca are now together." Everyone jumped up and started congratulating us. After a while we were all ready, waiting by the door for the house to be locked up, when it was, we started walking to a nice meadow Brad had suggested. Con walked up to me and interlocked his fingers with mine, we walked together the whole way until we came to the meadow.

"Well, here we are." stated Tris, setting down the picnic basket.

We layed out the blanket and set out the food ontop of it. No one else was there, so we had it all to ourselves.

When we had eaten all the food, we lay down in the sun, I lay next to Con, he put his arm around me and a warm feeling spread through my body, and I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Brad's POV

While everyone was resting I propped myself up with my elbow, I looked down at Zoe, I know it's a bit stalker-ish but, she was just so beautiful, her long, black eyelashes brushing over her soft skin, her silky, brown hair falling down over her shoulders, she was amazing. Now, I know this is a bit wierd but, I couldn't help myself, I leaned over to her and brushed my lips against her cheek, her eyelids fluttered, but she stayed asleep.She was amazing.

When everyone had woken up, we decided to take a walk, so I walked next to Zoe, and Beth just smiled smelt at us and ram ahead to join the others,

"So, I heard you got a record deal." Said Zoe.

"Yeah, yeah we have, Mercury records." I replied to her.

"Oh, wow! They've got like really famouse people haven't they!" Exclaimed Zoe.

"Yeah, they have." I replied, chuckling.

"Have you accepted them?" She asked.

"Yeah we have, but we're not sure what's going to happen next." I said.

"Oh, right, well I'm sure you guys are going to be amazing." She said, smiling up at me.

"Thankyou, I hope so." I smiled at her, and we carried in walking in a comforting silence.

When we got back to our picnic basket, Alex picked it up and we headed back to our cars. I had just passed my driving test so I managed to convince Tristan to lend me his car, so I was droving the car with Zoe, Bianca and Con, and everyone else was with James.

I drove along carefully in the car, until I realized that I had lost James, I knew the way to his house, but I wanted to be behind him to be sure, so I sped up to catch him up, but as I did that, I stalked the car and when I tried to stay it again, it wouldn't.

"Come on Brad! We need to catch them up!" Urged Connor.

'It won't start!"I panicked.

"Ok, ok, just calm down, try again." soothed Zoe. I called down and tried again a couple more times, but it wouldn't start.

"Great, we're stuck in the middle of nowhere in Tris's car." I complained, giving up.

"Don't worry, Con and I will find a phone booth or a mechanics and come to fix the car, you and Zoe stay here in case James comes back." Ordered Bianca. We agreed and Bianca and Con headed off while Zoe and I day in the car.

"Tris is going to kill me, my first time in his car and it breaks down, what a coincidence!" I whined, but soon felt stupid because I was being an idiot with Zoe.

"Don't worry, it will be ok." She said, calming me down.

After fifteen minutes they still hadn't arrived, so I suggested,

"How about we go outside? Pass the time."

"But we're supposed to wait incase James comes back." Zoe worried.

"ok, then we'll just sit outside the car." I suggested. Zoe shrugged and said,

"Yeah sure." So we got out of the car and sat down on the grass beside it. Zoe closed her eyes as a slight breeze tussled the leaves in the trees.

"Zoe," I said, butterflys urupting in my stomach, "I just wanted to-"

But I was cut off by Con running up to us from around the corner and saying,

"The mechanic is here."

We arrived home after fifteen minutes when the car had been fixed, we explained everything to the others and Tris gave me a hard stare, I looked back sheepishly, but he just playfully punched my arm and said,

"Nah, it's fine man, just don't do it again."

"I won't, sorry." I apologized.

When everyone had left the room, I walked into the corridor bit Zoe pulled me aside and asked,

"What was it you wanted to do earlier?" I took in a deep breath and thought,
Its now or never,

and I said,

"This." I lent in to kiss her, it was a small kiss, but it was amazing. When I pulled away, I looked into her eyes and she smiled at me, showing off her amazing white teeth,

"If that's your way of asking me to be your girlfriend, it's a yes." She hugged me, and I hugged her back, burying my head into her neck.
