Ezekiel felt every ounce of his body recoil at the scene in front of him. This was his home. Sure he had been raised in an Estate close to Neville's but this was his home. He had been born within the earthy halls of this hill, trained high on its peak, asked his first love to marry him at its base, and ran across its field in playful games and tough training. Now it was scattered with dead bodies and the green grass was stained with blood.

Ezekiel could hear Liva and Malachi gasp as they caught a good view. Their mounts had went silent and Alar and Raphael were in shock as we looked down on the destruction. Ezekiel pulled his mount, Thunderbolt towards the ground and felt the air shift as the others followed suit. When he landed Ezekiel didn't even wait for him to stop. He swung off the saddle and went running towards the door of the hideout. From the bodies he could see, it looked like we did more damage to Iris's men than they did to us, but he couldn't rest until he knew that his family was safe. Before He got to the door, it swung open and his parents stepped out. They were looking up towards the sky. Ezekiel knew they were waiting for them.

"Father! Mother!" When they turned towards him, he saw tears on his mother's cheek and felt his heart plummet. "Where is Bruce??" Anger fueled his body with additional strength as his father grabbed him into a crushing hug.

"He is okay." Ezekiel felt his mother's tiny arms wrap around them. He let out a sigh of relief as Liva, Malachi, Alar, and Raphael caught up. Liva was still atop her mount, Danato, and Raphael remained in the basket while the other two walked alongside.

"Your Majesties." Alar bowed deeply and extended his hand out to The King and Queen as Ezekiel removed himself from them to help Liva from her pegasuses.

"I must say that I am excited for your return, but I don't understand why you are here?" King Nickolus looked at Ezekiel and Alar with a curious gaze.

"Why you called for us, My Lord." Raphael flipped from the basket to the King's feet, landed with a bow, and then straightened his sword hanging from his hip.

"I have done no such thing." He looked almost in rage now. "Allow me to see the papers which were sent to you!"

Alar handed over the papers. King Nickolus examined the seal with scrutiny, confirmed that it was his, unrolled the paper, confirmed his hand writing, and then his face lost all color.

"This was not intended for you! This was intended for Trey's group of men! Isabelle was getting close to them. I sent them this to draw them back here because Isabelle's army is far larger than they will be able to hold off. He is the only really trained one in the group.. Oh this is very bad.. There won't be time to warn them now.." Ezekiel saw Liva pale when his father mentioned one of his Generals.

"What can be done?" Ezekiel inquired as he moved closer to the girl who looked like she might faint.

"We will have to send out reinforcements." The Queen smiled at us, "It is useful that you all have arrived. For you will go into the battle.

Queen Lillian and King Nickolas had just mentioned my brother's name, an evil princess, and the fact that we would be part of their rescue group. I was trying to absorb all of this when the Queen grabbed my hand.

"Come now, child, we need to get you some suitable armor." She pulled me away from the friends I had come to know into the large hill. We walked down a series of long hallways until we got to a large staircase that went down to a lower floor, up on the left to an upper floor, and up on the right to an upper floor.

"Ladies Quarters are this way." She continued up the right staircase. "You can use this room to freshen up and rest for a few minutes while we sort out the details. Someone will be up with your armor shortly." She left with that leaving me in a small room that held a bed, a washtub, and a small wardrobe.
