Our people had been living in harmony with all the lands inhabitants for hundreds of years. In fact, there was so much happiness and peace that the only real history we had was the changing of kings and queens due to the last one's death and the few battles when we helped the other kingdoms neighboring ours with.
The royals of our land never acted higher or mightier than anyone in their kingdom. Even so the inhabitants of the land never acted like the royal family was equal to them. Our land was beautiful and happy, the whole kingdom was led by the king and his queen. There was never any civil wars or hatred since the beginning of time. Everything was quite perfect in its own little way.
The kingdom was full of riches, from the gems mined from deep within the ground by such animals like the badgers and moles, to the beautiful golden and silver crowns and decorations and iron and steel weapons (that were rarely needed but made anyway) and tools that the dwarves made from the great trees of metal that grew in the center of the dwarf towns. Fauns and Centaurs made huge buildings and castles out of beautiful bricks of a ranging color of reds, from a light almost pink red to darker than blood red, Bears were amazing workers of wood and the mice and rats worked to make the finest of fabrics and rope. All the animals talked and were quite friendly to everyone.
However, all of that was about to change. When King Markus the Kind and his wife Queen Eliza the Friendly died, they had only two children, twin girls who both claimed the throne as their natural birthright. This is what brought the division of the beautiful, happy kingdom of Carabelle and changed everything for the rest of time.
Hey All,
If you are returning to this book It will be different. I am combining the best of the start that I had on here and the one i had previously wrote. I decided that both were good stories, but if I combined the two I could possibly stumble onto something Fantastic! Enjoy!
