when he looked at her, he saw his whole world. he saw a girl with dark hair and brown eyes and a smile that could light up all of rosewood. if there was anything he wanted, it was to for maria to never stop smiling. "why are you looking at me like that?" she asked, looking down and smiling wider.
"because you're my everything," he said, pulling her chin up by his index finger and thumb. her eyes seemed to spark each time they met his, lighting up like a child's on christmas morning. he leaned in closer, pressing his forehead against hers, a goofy grin upon his lips. "you matter so much to me, baby."
"hmm?" she replied, brushing her lips against his, making him drop his childish smile, replacing it with a look of want, need. he searched her eyes for something, she never knew what, and neither did he. jason loved getting lost in her. "what makes you say so?"
"you're absolutely divine," he breathed, brushing his lips back against hers. "you're so flawless without even trying, and you dont even know that you are."
"you're so extra, jase," she giggled, a sound he would never want to forget. he brought his lips to hers, interrupting her laughter, he could feel the way her lips pulled back into a smile, and how they melted into his. this was a moment he wished he could live in forever.
