I was sleeping soundly till someone gently shook my and I opened my eyes to Dark staring at me smiling. "Come play in the snow with me." He asked causing me to jump up from the covers excitedly. Dark chuckled and left me to get dressed. Once I was bundled up in several layers I met dark in the yard and threw a snowball at him while he still had his back turned. He turned around and gave me a devilish smirk making me think it was a good time to run. I playfully dashed away from him around the yard till he caught me and attempted to throw me over his shoulder.

But I escaped and ran a little ways into the woods laughing with him on my heels laughing behind me. Suddenly a lose patch of snow broke lose and I tumbled down a steep hill into a valley where the wind was knocked out of me.
"Ellie?! You ok?!" Dark asked his voice sounding frantic.

I just raised My arm to give him a thumbs up because I was still recovering from my trip down the hill. But internally I was laughing at myself. "Ellie don't move." Dark warned me but I popped my head up because I heard a few branches break. The sight in front of me made my heart stop. A bear stood not three feet away from me staring me dead in the eye. I felt like I was staring death in the face. I was completely paralyzed in fear when the bear raised his paw and struck me with its paw across the face making my vision blur and go black.

DIE

I heard Ellie scream and then Dark yelling in the woods. I was already in the woods not to far from them so I decided to check it out and just make sure she was okay. I saw Ellie try to get away from a fucking bear with a pitiful look of fear on her face, and then it swiped her across the face with its left paw and sent her back to the ground motionless. I didn't think twice about teleporting down there and breaking the bears neck. There quick and easy. I smiled at myself and how I so quickly ended the danger. That is until I heard Darks yelling "Ellie! Oh my god." I turned and saw the scratches on her face and it was starting to bruise. She was mumbling something to us but since she probably had a concussion she was having a hard time even staying awake.

"Shh don't talk I'm gonna take you home and DIE will be right behind us. Your gonna be ok." Dark promised her with his breath quick and his heart racing. I can heal the scratches on her face but if she has a concussion then there's only so much I can do, and the bruises will have to heal in their own.
Dark shouldn't promise her things he doesn't  know about.
