Jacob's P.O.V: I was very curious who that guy Desiree was looking at. She turned so white, she looked like a ghost for a second. Well she did look relief to see me get her attention. I don't want to assume things so I'm ganna go ask her about him.

Jacob: Hey, Desiree?

Desiree: *looking through books, trying to distract herself* Uh yeah?

Jacob: Are you okay?

Desiree: *nervously & keeps looking at book* Uh yeah, why? *drops book, puts it back & turns around to walk the other way slowly*

Jacob: Are you sure? Who was that guy out there that you were starring at so scared?

Desiree: *stops walking & stands there for a minute frighten then turns towards him* Do you really want to know?

Jacob: Yes I do, I need to know I'm your boyfriend I should know these things. Who is he you're ex or wh-*gets cut off*

Jacob: *silent for a moment*....well okay, so why are you so scared of him?

Desiree: *turns around with eyes full of water & all red* What?! What is it Jacob?

Jacob: Look I'm sorry of how I reacted by asking you that. I should've been calm about it, I didn't know it was that bad, about this guy until-*cuts himself off & swallows hard*...until you told me what he tried to do to you...babe I'm sorry.

Jacob: Well do you wanna tell me now or later because you have to sooner or later

Desiree: I'll tell you later okay?

Desiree: Alright now lets get some flowers and head up stairs. *grabs roses & pink lilies then pays for them*

Jacob: *holds flowers but takes out a rose before he goes inside* Here...this is for you. *hands it to Desiree* I love you.

Desiree: *eyes watery again, takes the flower & kisses his cheek *I love you too * hugs him then they both go inside*

Jacob: *enters room* Hi ma

Mrs. Perez: Hi you two, how was your night?

Jacob: Good, it was good and yours?

Mrs. Perez: It was long, but that was a good thing becasue I got to watch my novela *smiles*

Jacob: *laughs & looks out the window* Man I remember thoughs nights watching it with you. Making tea, eating your amazing spanish food, and then cuddling together *laughs*....*looks at his mom*

Mrs. Perez: Thoughs memories will come back my papi chulo, I promise

Jacob: I promise that too ma. *goes up to her & kisses her cheek*

Mrs. Perez: *smiles & kisses his cheek back* mmmmuah *giggles & then pinches his cheek* I love you my papi chulo

Mrs. Perez: Yeah and you better love her too. *points at him & then looks at Desiree & smiles* Come here nena *pats her bed*

Desiree: *sits next to her on the bed*

Mrs. Perez: And you too son, sit right here. I want to tell you two something

Jacob: What is it mom?

Mrs. Perez: Give me my purse over there on that chair, I have something for Desiree.

Jacob: *gives it to her* How do you get gifts and not me? *laughs*

Desiree: *laughs* I don't know, maybe I'm just that special

Mrs. Perez: Yes you are, and that is why I am giving you this. *grabs a black box out from her purse* here this is for you and for your wedding *smiles* maybe you can even give it to your daughter and she can give it to her daughter and then you know it goes on for generations

Desiree: *looks at it & smiles*

Mrs. Perez: Go ahead open it *smiles*

Desiree: *opens the box & gasps & puts hand over her chest & looks up at her* Mrs. Perez, I-I'm speechless..tuh this hair piece is beautiful

Mrs. Perez: I know, I wore it for my own wedding and my mother had it and then she gave it to me so now I have to pass it to my new daughter in law. *smiles at her & then hugs her tight*

Desiree: *hugs back* Thank you so much

Mrs. Perez: You're very welcome nena. Put it on, I want to see how it looks *helps her put it in her hair*

Desiree: *turns around & lets her put the hair piece in* It even has my favorite color on it

Mrs. Perez: You like green just like Jacob? I see one thing you guys have in common

Desiree: *chuckles* Yeah

Jacob: *starring at Desiree*

Desiree: *turns around towards Jacob* How do I look?

Jacob: Beautiful...

Jacob: *nods head yes*...yes

Mrs. Perez: You look beautiful miha *smiles*
