A Second Chance

Chapter 5

Akshay had to run out of her room otherwise he would've never stopped. This woman was driving him crazy and he knew he couldn't act on his desires right now, he wouldn't. She was trying to move on from a messy break up and he knew he had to be careful with her. He wanted her, not only in his bed but in his heart as well. Emelia was a beautiful woman, both inside and out and she deserved to be wooed. He would go after her the proper way, the gentlemanly way. With the thoughts of a certain blue eyed redhead in mind, Akshay fell asleep.

Emily couldn't believe how stupid she had been. She had initiated the kiss, yes Akshay had liked it but she shouldn't have behaved in such a wanton way. What would he be thinking? But the kiss had been amazing, her best one till date. Yes she had kissed her fair share of guys and her sex life had never been inactive since she lost her virginity in college to her first serious boyfriend, she had never ever felt so aroused by a single kiss. Every touch, every caress made her want to be with him, kiss him, make love to him. She wondered if he felt the same way. Was he as confused about his feelings as Emily was? Willing herself to push these thoughts to the side and focus on the work she had come to do, Emily fell asleep.

The next morning they met in the hotel lobby and went to see the fort. As soon as Emily saw the huge stone structure and garden in front if her, she knew she would love to get married here as well, but since her history was not very encouraging when it came to men or marriage she decided she would plan a great wedding here.

Akshay could see that Emily was lost in her thoughts as they reached  Jaigarh Fort. This was one place he used to come a lot as a kid and loved coming here now as well. He could see Emily's red locks flying and messing up and he hadn't seen a better site in his life. She was looking with such awe at the structure in front of her and it tugged at his heart strings.

"What are you thinking?"

Akshay's voice broke Emily's trance and she looked at him. He was looking handsome as ever, even more so. Emily wondered if she would ever get tired of just looking at him. Why couldn't he be some stupid ugly man she had to work for? Why did he have to be so caring, attentive, handsome and intelligent. He not only looked well but was a good conversationalist and she enjoyed talking to him.

"Earth to Emelia?"

Oh God. Why did he have to say her name so sexily? It made her want to do very sinister things to him.

"I'm sorry. Yes?"

"I asked, what were you thinking?"

" I love this place. I'd like to plan a nice wedding here."

"I'm sure the wedding will be amazing. You are a talented woman. And beautiful too. The perfect package"

Emily blushed as he winked at her.

"You really should stop lying so much."

"I don't lie Emelia. So you should know I won't be lying when I tell you all the things I want do to you."

Akshay had such a mischevious glint in his eyes when he said it and before she knew it Emily was in his arms.

"We should go back." Her voice sounded husky to her own ears, she wondered what Akshay must be thinking but then he replied in an equally if not huskier voice.

"Yes. We should go back. To my room."
