"Hey Aaron, what's up?" Chloe says, slinging her arm over Aaron's shoulders. They had been best friends since they were little.
"Nothing much, a little nervous about the ceremony tomorow though," Aaron said. He sighed.

"Oh, yeah. Right. But hey, there's nothing to worry about as long as you know what you want," She said. Aaron sighed.

"Oh, cheer up. It's not like everyone you know and love is going to die tomorrow, and whatever you want is fine with me." Chloe winked.

"Since when have you ever winked?" Aaron said, chuckling.
"Since now!" Chloe retorted. She was generally cheerful, but didn't like being judged. She rolled her beautiful black eyes. Her long hair was dark brown, and she was tan. Very attractive, and most boys would kiss her if they could.

"Sorry," Aaron said. Chloe ruffled his dull blonde hair.

"It's fine, just watch your mouth!" She yelled. An elderly woman glared at her. "Oops," She whispered, and laughed sheepishly.
They arrived at Chloe's house about ten minutes later. They hugged, and Aaron handed her the bag she dropped, her drawings most likely now crumpled.

"Bye Aaron, see you tomorrow at the Ceremony!" She hollered as she swung open her door.

"Yeah, see you there. Good luck sleeping!" Aaron yelled back.
"You're the one that'll need the luck!" Chloe laughed.

Aaron arrived home and his parents immediately crowded him. Is mother bought him a new suit of the Ceremony, and his father patted him on the back.

"Get to sleep, son. And think about your choice." His father said. Aaron headed upstairs to his bedroom.

"But what if I can't decide?" Aaron wondered. "What if I don't choose?"
