"So what do we do now?" Aaron asks.

"I guess... What were you going to do?" I asked. Aaron rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"Dunno... Maybe stop the Ceremony of Fate? It's cruel." He said.

"Woah... Dude. That is a big step from running away. And how are you gonna do that? You could barely outrun the police!" I shout. Aaron glares.

"Shut up, the whole world doesn't need to hear your whining," He growls.

"I'm not whining, get it right. I'm saying that it's almost impossible!" I retort. I am turning red, I can feel it.

"And your point is..? Five hundred years ago, being immortal was impossible too," Aaron says. I groan.

"What point are you trying to get across?" I retort.

"That nothing is impossible." He replies calmly. I take a deep breath. Usually I'm the stubborn one.

"So what will you do?" I asked.

"How do we become immortal?" Aaron asks.

"Uh, we say 'live forever'." I reply.

"Well yeah, but how?" He asks again.

"Something with an injection we got when we were little, I think." I say. I remember the teacher mentioning it in health class once. The only good memory in there.

"Then I'll destroy the injections," he says. I sigh. Oh god... What is he doing? I wonder.

"And how exactly do you find out where the injections are kept?" I ask.

"My dad works with children, he sometimes gives them the shots," Aaron says. "They're in city hall, one of the back rooms. Complete lockdown,"

"So how do you get back there?" I growl.

"Oh, we don't have to," he says. He motions an explosion with his hands. "Just blow the place to bits."

I am frustrated. I thought he was nervous about the Ceremony because he didn't know whether to live or die, not because he was running away and planning to blow up the city!

"You drive me crazy, you know that?" I growl.

"I am completely aware of it," He replies, smirking.
