The janitor’s voice was thunderous, with a shocked undertone. It wasn’t everyday you caught two boys in such a compromising position at CSA, after all. His hands were gripping my suspenders, and we were close…too close. Much too close. Unable to think correctly, I dashed out of the closet, no pun intended, leaving Harry behind. I was filled with anger to the point that all I knew was that I wanted to leave, go home, and avoid everyone. Instead, I was on my way to the Headmaster’s office. I walked down the halls, furious about everything that was going on, with my snapping footsteps showing it.

I slowed down to the curly haired boy’s pace after a little while. He gave me the dirtiest look he’s capable of and I lean over toward him, hissing. “This is all your fault, you pathetic wanker!” Good thing the janitor wasn’t looking, he’d probably assume that I was hitting on Harry again.

I stalked into the headmasters office, shoving the curly haired boy out of the way simply to get the satisfaction of walking in first.

TOMLINSON!” Mr. Walsh roared once he saw me, obviously witnessing what I had just done. We sat there for what seemed like hours, but in reality it was only about ten minutes. I felt my heart stop once I glanced over and saw my father standing at the door with his arms crossed. I felt completely defeated, like my stomach was a balloon that had just deflated, and I let my head hang. What was he going to think? What was he going to say? Jesus Christ, what did I ever do to deserve this? I heard Harry settle down next to me and I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my skull. I flinch involuntarily and curl up into my seat, my eyelids clasping closed.

“Louis! I cannot even believe this nonsense! What were you doing?! I thought you weren’t friends with this low-status freak!” I cringed at his words and felt my anger building up in my chest at the mere thought of my father believing such ridiculous things. “Now you’re hiding in closets doing god knows what with him!” I couldn’t keep my mouth shut after that.

“I wasn’t doing anything with him! He’s nothing to me!” I yelled, pushing myself off the chair, and pushing my way out of the room. I couldn’t restrain myself anymore, I had to get out of that tiny, shut-in office. Claustrophobia and paranoia had gotten the best of me for a moment right there, and either way, the damage had been done. I had just made my punishment be at least five times worse for running out the way I did – like a girl, my father will more than likely hiss in disgust, concerning my latest misbehaviors.

I walked down the hall a bit and slid down a locker and sat on the floor. This is bullshit! I elbowed the locker behind me as hard as I could, not caring about the stinging pain running down my arm as soon as my elbow separated from the cold blue metal. My mind was racing, I couldn’t keep my grasp on a single thought. What was going to happen when I got home? Has my mother been notified, as well? This didn’t even actually happen the way it was perceived! Oh great, I was now officially going crazy, talking to mysel-…footsteps walking in front of me bring me out of my thoughts and I looked up.

The curly-haired boy gave me an extremely harsh glare and I flinch yet again. I yanked my legs up to my chest, pouting out my bottom lip and glaring at him childishly, my eyes narrowing into slits.

“Have you not had enough yet?!” I asked him coldly, my face showing nothing but anger at the fact that he was still stuck on his stupid high horse.

Me?!” He yelled right back at me, flailing his arms around helplessly, his mouth dropping and then closing, his curls shaking around as he tries to rationalize my words by multiple shakes of his head.

“Obviously, there’s no one else around.” I retort, my glare unfaltering.

“You’re the one who starts these pathetic fights! I don’t understand how we were ever even mates! You started it all! You made us this way! Don’t give that that bullshit line! I’m just stuck here wondering if you’ll ever get enough!” He said, his chest rising and falling with every word that spills out of his mouth.
