When you wake up and the sun hits your skin and you feel the warm sensation, I hope you remember how it felt when I touched you, how it felt when my arms wrapped around your waist and I giggled that soft sound and your smile crept upon your face without you even thinking. When you listen to music I hope you remember how we would sing along together and when I would try and play silly songs on the old guitar. When you look at your hands I hope you remember how it felt to hold mine intertwined with yours and when you look at them I hope you remember that silly ring I gave you promising you how I would always find a way back. When you look in the mirror I hope you remember how it felt to look me in the eyes and hear me say "I love you." When you rub your face I hope you remember how my lips felt against your cheek. When you run your fingers through your hair I hope you remember how it felt when I would play with your hair especially when you didn't feel well and I would say "everything's okay." When you stand in the shower I hope you remember the tears you shed the day I said goodbye and I hope you remember how much pain you put me through until it got to the point I couldn't eat or sleep because you pulled me in so fast then one day let go till I was broken. But mostly I want you to remember that stupid cheesy letter I gave you and our awkward first and last kiss we shared sitting on the floor the day I lost you.
