Diving through the air I heard Predaking speak through the comm link to me.
" The Autobots are at Shockwaves off-site lab, I'm heading there now " I hear him say gruffly and I could tell he was angered.
" I shall wait for your return " I say before tucking my wings so I plunged down before suddenly arching upwards in a swift motion.
It was a bit of a rocky area below, a state named California. It had a very large population but also had many isolated places.
Seeing the large deserted area I landed with a small thud on the ground and a small cloud of dust and other particles puffed up and blew away in the soft breeze.
Cranking my neck I looked around. buildings, but abandoned and vandalised. The air was very dry with a salty tinge to it.
With light feet I treded on the white beach surrounding the large lake. I nudged my muzzle into the white sand like earth, making out small spine bones and a few skulls of fish. The beach was all bones, turned to powder by the heat and rocks.
With a snort I waded into the water, the warmth of it tickling my slender metallic legs and claws. I dunked my head under the water keeping my eyes open, startling one of the very few fish that were still alive in the lake.
After diving around a few times in the salty lake I launched myself into the air, my metal plates and scales now shiny and clean of all the dirt and energon. Knockout will finally stop bothering me!
Landing on the flight deck I spy Predaking in his beast form, stomping in circles. Immediately I could tell he was definitely not all hardy har about something and I scamper over to him.
He looks at me and I clack my maw in hello. He did a quick nod before pacing again. " Were the Autobots present? " I ask pouncing on his tail, I may have been around for a long time on earth but I died on Cybertron during the cataclysm as a sparkling, so I'm still somewhat young.
Predaking moved his tail away from me and I whined, he sat down wrapping his tail around his talons. " I engaged two Autobots that were in the cavern, they escaped before they could be destroyed, being saved by the Prime... " he drifted off getting a distant look in his optics before shaking his head. " they blew the lab " he said with a snarl.
My wings sank and I lowered my head, making bubbly noises in the back of my throat, before pouncing on Predakings tail again as he swished it around.
" you are such a child. " he said with a hint of amusement as he jerked his tail away right as I was about to grab it. Huffing I pounce strait on him instead, landing on his back with a small ping. Predaking got up from sitting and tried shaking me off but I hung onto the spikes on the back on his neck.
Giving a large shake I loose my grip on one of his spines and I somersault onto the deck, landing on my back. But, being a prick, before I can get up Predaking lazily lays on the deck with his head over my stomach, I'm stuck.
" get off " I fake wheeze trying to wriggle out from under his large head but he holds me down. Growling I try pummeling my back feet into his chest but he WON'T MOVE!
" your efforts are adorable " He said poking my side, oh he did not just call me that! " I am anything but adorable! " I growl as I try smacking him with my wings, but he pinned them down with his claw. With a snarl I just go limp " I give up. " Predaking snorts in amusement and let's me go, I roll over onto my side and use my wings to help me back onto my back talons.
" curse me and my ridiculous arms! " I say dramatically while waving my front talons around. I yelp when I'm suddenly shoved over landing on my side, while I hear deep chuckling. " I AM GOING TO DESTROY YOUR AFT WHEN I FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET UP!!! " I screech while flailing my wings around to push me up, while Predaking just shrugged before walking off and out of sight.
Finally after getting up I got commed by Shockwave that I was needed for a mission, along with Predaking. I watched as Predaking, in his beast mode, jumped off the deck of the ship and started flying towards the arctic. While I walked in the ground bridge after Shockwave and a number of vehicons.
As I stepped out of the swirling green and blue portal I looked around as about Two Vehicon workers started getting to work on removing the power source from the military base while Shockwave supervised. I stood up on the ledge with my wings folded neatly on my back my sharp gaze going over the large room, finding every crack in the cement and walls.
My head shoots up when I hear a familiar noise, I make grunting noises and bear my fangs. With a clicking noise I grab about ten vehicons attention and I jerk my head down the hall. they look at Shockwave who nods and they file out, turning their arms into blasters.
My large back talon clicks against the concrete and my wings twitch in anticipation. I was once with the Autobots, will they remember me and call me a traitor... what about Smokescreen? My thoughts stop when I hear blaster fire, I hiss deeply from the back of my throat and my wings open about an inch.
Everyone stops when a loud explosion is heard, and a Vehicon somersaults back into the room. The other vehicons look down at it, but he gets shot by a blue blasts as the Autobots storm in.
