Stay Awake

 "Kill you? Alex what are you on about?"

There's this woman... She was in my dream and now I think she's trying to.

"Alex calm down, you're going to give yourself a panic attack"

I'm scared Jack.

"I know 'Lex, I know. Just clam down and tell me what happened" I take a few shaky breaths until I've stopped shaking.

Well first there was this woman in my dream that I'd never seen before then I saw on the way to school on the side of the street. I freaked out but I didn't see her again till English when she was right outside the window, I fucking freaked out and got sent out. Then she was there again on the street, she only stared at me and never said a word but then there was this car coming and I saw it come around the corner and it was coming so fast. It was coming straight for me.

"Alex, you sound a paranoid. Are you sure she was trying to kill you?"

No... I don't know that's what it felt like.

"It's weird, for her to appear from your dream like that but I don't know about trying to kill you"

Yeah, you're probably right. It just felt so real.

"You're okay Alex"

It's just I'm scared of what'll happen to you if something happens to me.

"Nothing's going to happen to you 'Lex"

I hope not, I don't want anything bad to happen to you.

"It won't, I'll right here waiting for you to fine me"

But even with that I'm running out of time.

"You will find me Alex, have faith in yourself"

I'm trying; I'm just so scared of what's going to happen if I fail.

"Don't think like that, you will do this, you will find me"

I better carry on looking then. I spend the rest of the night looking through other social medias looking for Jack and not coming up with anything useful, but my minds still all over the place from freaky stuff that happened earlier and I end giving up and going to sleep in hope of feeling better when I wake up.  

I'm standing there again, on that same stretch of road in the pouring rain but waiting for the car to come. She's there again, staring at me with these piercing brown eyes and long auburn hair. I could hear the car coming, I want to close my eye against it but it's no use. As it comes around the corner something's different, it's still skidding all over the road but this time it's not going towards the other side of the road. It's coming towards me, I try to move, I try to pull away but it's no use the car's going to hit me. I stare at the woman, I want to yell to scream, to tell her stop whatever she's doing but I can't move. The car's coming for me now, it rolls over and comes speeding towards me...

"AHHHH" I wake up screaming, tears running down my face.

"ALEX? ALEX, WHAT'S WRONG?" Jack's yelling inside my head, I put my head in my hands as more tears run down my face. I've never heard Jack so scared.

She...She was in my dream again Jack, she was trying to kill me.

"Are you okay?"

Yeah...Yeah I'm alive. Are you okay? You were almost screaming inside my head.

"Oh sorry 'Lex, I just... I just don't want to lose you"

Hey I just survived being hit with a car, I think I'm good. I try to joke; it seems the only way to lighten the mood.
