When I woke up I had 2 missed calls from my friend Kierra.

" Hello"

"You called me " I asked

" Yeah , What you doing today"

" SHit! Probally school and work same ole same ole "

"Well me and Shonda wanted to go out for drinks tonight. You know she finna I open her salon right" .

" No When"

" Sometime next week"

" Well DAmn, I wanna go"

" We leaving tonight around 10ish so be ready"

" Oh okay" I said and hung up. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I looked at my face and i looked 21 rather than 19. I was young and independent. My mom has been strung out on crack for the past 5 years. I couldn't stay with her anymore. After she almost sold my virginity to get that monkey off her back, i lost all respect. She was a good mother before she let the crack take over her. at the age of 14 i was cooking , cleaning and sometimes paying bills on my own. I practically raised myself. I taught myself how to use a tampon.. When i left at 18 it wasn't hard for me to take care of myself. Taking care of myself was all I did know so it came pretty easy . Mama wouldn't help pay for college at all. Being a stripper was the only way I could afford school and make a living. My dad was a fuck boy and family is just a foreign word to me. It aint nobody excpet niggas with the same last name, sometimes it aint even that. But I was never broke but i hated the fact that i exposed my self for everyone.

As i was walking outside this guy caught my eye. He was 6 feet even , light skin , tattoos, and curley hair. He was a lil cutie! He was standing right beside my neighbor. I guess that's her brother or something.

" Aye Faith, Come here" my neighbor Tiffany yelled.

Wow what a coincidence, I look and she calls my name. Should've minded my business.

"Wassup" I questioned walking in their direction

"Hey girl, I want you to meeet my cousin..He gone be around for a minute. Marquise this Faith my neighbor ,Faith Marquice..

" Wassup" he nodded. I waved.

"What, you getting into today" Tiffany asked.

" Shit , I'm going out with the girls later , Thats bout it."

"Oh tru Where yall going"

" i dont even know yet! I guess we'll figure all that out when they get here"

"You know i will" I said "Nice meeting you" i said walking back to my apartment.

It was 8:30pm and I was hopping into the shower. I loved to feel the hot warm water against my body.It was such a relaxing sensation.

It was around 9:33 pm when i got out. I wrapped myself up in a towel and put on my mask. I curled my hair and my phone buzzed. IT was Kierra

" Hello" I answered putting the phone on speaker phone and fluffing my curls.

" Open the door hoe , we outside" Shonda yelled.

I hung up and went to opened the front door.

" Damn , you not even dress" Shonda semi yelled.

" Nah , I'm getting there gimmie 30 minutes thoe" I said going to the back

" Hurry up Girl, I'm ready to turn up and find me a man"

I washed my mask off and added my thong and bra. I lotioned my body down and slid my dress on. I fluffed my curls and added my pumps. In my opinion I was a walking baddie.
