Hate that I love you

After the fight between me and Marquise we haven't been the same. We always arguing over the littlest shit and its aggervating. We not what we use to be. The fight was like a month ago but I'm still having back problems. My bruises are semi healed. I wouldn't let nobody see me until then. Today I was going over to Mani house to chill.

I went into the bathroom and did my hygiene stuff. I put on my coco butter and then i looked at my self in the mirror. I looked like a total different person. I put on my make up to try and hard the scars . The scars were hidden but the hurt was written all over my face. I threw on a sun dress , grabbed my shades and let my hair out to be free and curly.i added lip glass and i looked decent. I grabbed my purse and keys and  hopped in my ride.

It took me 5 minutes to get to Manis house. When i pulled up i sen 2 other cars. It was a black RangeRover and a Red Camero. I got out and knocked on the door. Mani opened the door and took my glasses off. Mani face went from a smile to tears. Tears welled up in my eyes and she hugged me for five minutes.

" Baby who that" Some light skinned dude asked. She wiped her tears and took me outside. We sat quiet for 20 minutes straight.

"Are you going to tell me what happened."

"Me and Marquise got into a big arguement because LaNique told him that i was a stripper or whatever and we just started scrapping"

" He put his hands on you" she yelled.

"it wasn't his fault i shouldn't have slapped him. If I didn't touch him I wouldn't be in this perdicument."

"It doesn't matter. He's a fucking man and he can't be slapping you around like that."

" He's not Mani calm down"

" Stop taking up for him, You need to leave him alone"

" the fight was like a month ago" i said rolling my eyes. i felt as if she was over reacting.

" Fayth , you are failing to realize that you look bad still. If its a month old it looks even worse than before.Leave him alone"

i looked at her and shook my head. i didn't wanna hear that shit. i got in my car and started driving around. I drove around town. I pulled up to a red light and I seen this pretty couple walking down street. They looked so happy like they could get through it all. I wanted a relationship like that. The light turned green and as i got close i realized that it was Quise and LaNique. I was debating with my self to show up now or show out at home. I decied to wait till we got home. I made a U turn in the direction of home and waited.

Around 8pm Quise walked throught the door.

"Where were you" I asked

" I was chilling with the boys" he said

" All day?" i asked. He raised his eye brow.

" The fuck you questioning me for and why there aint no food on the stove"

" Nigga i'm not a fucking servant " I said getting up. He grabbed my wrist and brought me close to him.

" Cook , NOW"

" Ask LaNique" I said through clenched teeth. He slapped the shit outta me . I fell to the floor and blood spattered on the wall. He took his belt off and started swinging it towards me.

" You finna learn a lesson day' he said beating me with the belt.I curled up in a fetal postioned trying to block the whips that were comming down but it didnt work.I felt the open cuts forming on my arms and legs. i sat there and cried. When he was finsihed he kissed me and left. Once again .
