Oblivious Love - Zalfie

Zoe's POV
"Alfie, Louise!" I shouted looking quite daft stood at the train station platform.

"Chummy!" Louise yelled and immediately ran over as quick as her legs could take her. Which was quite a funny sight if I'm honest.

We both engulfed each other in a bone crushing hug.

"Ugh if this is what the whole week is going to be like I might as well leave!" Alfie laughed as he stood to the side.

"Alfieeee" I smiled and jumped into his arms hugging him.

I flung my arms around his neck and his wrapped around my petite waist. "I missed you Schmalf" I laughed slightly at my nickname for him. I don't know how it came about just one day, just me and him-we were both really hyper and it was invented.

"Aww look at the happy couple!" Louise gushed jokingly.

Louise always made jokes about mine and Alfie's friendship saying we both liked each other.

She was permanently teasing and cracking jokes about how much of a couple we are but sadly we are just friends.

Deep down I do have a secret crush on Alfie but he could never know. It would ruin our entire friendship as I'm sure he does not feel the same. Although Louise is forever pestering me saying that we are both completely blind to not see the way we both love each other and won't admit it.

I normally brush off acting as if everything is ok but in reality my feelings were killing me.

"So..shall we head off?" I asked stepping away from Alfie and smiling trying to change the subject.

"Yeah let's go!" Louise grinned.

They both grabbed their suitcases and wheeled them to my mini convertible. They were staying for a week so we could catch up and film some videos as out viewers loved it when we were together and so did I.

"Do you guys want to get a takeaway?" I asked them both as we walked in through the front door of my house.

"Of course chummy! do you even know me?!" Louise joked as we moved hers and Alfie's suitcases into the corner of the living room out of the way for now.

"Yeah sure I could go for that..I'm guessing you both want pizza" Alfie chuckled under his breath.

"Obviously" Me and Louise both stated in sync making us all burst out in laughter so much that I had started to cry.

"Ugh now my makeup is going to run..and it will be ruined" I laughed wiping the smudged mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow from underneath my eyes.

"It's ok Zo you look beautiful without makeup" Alfie smiled while his cheeks tinged a tiny bit red. Was he blushing? Maybe he did like me? No Zoe don't be ridiculous..we just came in from the wind and cold, he was simply giving a friendly compliment.

"Thanks Alf" I smiled back my cheeks turning pink as well.

Louise moved her head from me to Alfie, then to me, then back to Alfie and repeated that process like she was watching a tennis match. Me and Alfie were just smiling like idiots at each other but was interrupted by Louise coughing.

"Um..so who's channel are we filming for first?" Louise awkwardly said. Thank you to her for changing the subject even though I didn't mind Alfie calling me beautiful.

"Why don't we film for mine first then Alfie's and then yours chummy" I stated smiling.

"Sure I'm cool with that.." Alfie smiled slightly and looked down. Did he feel bad for creating an awkward situation? Aw he's cute..wait Zoe stop thinking about your best friend that way!

After filming.

"Oh my god that was hilarious!" Louise laughed packing away the tripod and camera as filming was done for the night.

"Yeah I started to cry again!" I laughed even harder. It always seems that when I laugh I always end up crying even with the little things it can be quite annoying because it mean my makeup always gets ruined.

"Do you guys want to watch a film?" Alfie asked as he riffled through the pile of menus on the coffee table trying to find the dominos one. Which is OBVIOUSLY what we decided on.

"Yeah sure I'll pick one out" I smiled.

"NO!" Alfie yelled trying to keep a straight face.

"No what?" I smirked knowing exactly why he was 'angry'.

"You always pick either a musical or a Disney movie!" Alfie groaned - slightly laughing too.

"Not always..and what is wrong with Disney Alfie even you sing along to the songs don't lie!" I shouted pointing at him sternly but I couldn't help but laugh. That isn't strictly a lie whenever I watch a Disney film with Alfie he does sing along it is very cute especially when he doesn't know the words and gets all embarrassed.

Although one time we were both watching Aladdin and 'A whole new world' started and we just had to make our own little musical. Yep...that actually happened.

"Why don't we watch this?" Louise said picking up the dvd for 'Kevin and Perry Go Large' which is one of our favourite movies.

"Yes chummy!" I laughed.

"Ok now that I will watch!" Alfie smiled pointing at the tv as Louise put the dvd in the player.

I sat next to Alfie on the sofa and he naturally just put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him.

This is just how we were. We would always cuddle whilst watching movies and our friends would say thats a couple thing to do and that friends don't.

But honestly I don't care what they think. I will hug Alfie if I want to hug Alfie.

I rested my head on Alfie's chest and placed my hands around his waist.

I looked over at Louise and she was sat on the chair across the room smirking at us.

'shut up' I mouthed over to her.
