I woke up in my living room covered in my trusty fleecy blanket which is normally balanced over the side of the sofa but not today. I burry my head further into what I thought was a pillow but when the pillow starts to shake I open my eyes with curiosity only to see Alfie sat there chuckling with his arm still protectively wrapped round me and my head now buried in his chest.
My cheeks flush pink with embarrassment and I sit bolt right up away from Alfie (to my disappointment) "you know your cute when your asleep" Alfie smirked but his cheeks tinged red.
I'm pretty sure if you put a tomato next to my face at that precise moment you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and myself as they were practically the same colour.
"Thanks" I whispered tucking my hair behind my ear suddenly feeling EVEN more embarrassed than I was before if that's at all possible.
"Sorry for falling asleep on you.." I started fiddling with the hair bobbles fitted around my wrist instead of looking him in the eyes.
"No it's ok I fell asleep as well" Alfie laughed looking down at his hands in embarrassment.
"Oh so I guess it's even" I laughed slightly my cheeks practically stained pink by now. I looked accross the room to see Louise bundled up in her hoodie still fast asleep.
"Shall we make some breakfast?" I suggested to Alfie as we both laughed at Louise.
"Yeah I'm starving" Alfie stated and as if on cue his stomach rumbled..quite loud.
"I can tell" I laughed referring to his belly.
We both unraveled the blanket from around us and Alfie folded it and placed it back on the edge of the sofa. I've always loved how Alfie was so neat I mean I'm not a messy person but I leave little piles everywhere so when Alfie goes into my room he nearly has a breakdown on how unorganised it is. Compared to me Alfie is like Monica from Friends.
"What do you want for breakfast? I can make us pancakes" I offered Alfie as he sat down at the dining room table checking presumably twitter on his phone.
"Sure if you don't mind" Alfie chuckled slightly.
I started to get all the ingredients out along with the bowls and cutlery needed for Jamie Olivers trusty recipe.
"Need any help?" Alfie spoke up locking his phone and setting it down on the table then coming up behind me placing his hands on my shoulders. Lucky he was behind me otherwise he would have been blinded by my glowing face.
"Umm...Could you whisk the egg whites for me?" I asked shyly conscious that he still hadn't moved his hands.
"Of course I can" He cheered happily then giving me a quick hug from behind.

After making the mixture we had now ventured onto cooking and flipping pancakes. One problem though I didn't actually know how to flip pancakes. Normally I just cheated and used a spatula to turn them more than flip them.
Just when I started to use my normal trusty method Alfie soon interrupted me.
"Woah what you doing there?" Alfie questioned laughing slightly.
"Um..flipping the pancake..?" I stated confused. "Isn't it obvious?" I continued giggling.
"No your doing it wrong! That's cheating! Look let me show you how your supposed to do it" Alfie chuckled and moved behind me once again moving his arms wrapping them round my waist with his hands settling round mine on the pan.
