Silent Hill: DARKNESS

Chapter One

I woke up in a cold dark place, wasnt sure if it was real or not. I know its just a dream..but..It felt real to me. The dark cold rain dropping down on my face, ice cold against my skin. I looked at my surroundings and it turns out that there are old abandon buildings, looked like they were boarded up, some were run down, and some didnt look like they were. This place was giving me chills down my spine. I didnt like it, yet i knew i had to get help, even if it kills me. I then went over to one of the boarded up building and knocked on the door. "Hello? Is anyone home?" I asked as I received no reply. They must've not heard me, so i went to knock on the door again. "Hello? My name is Max Johnson, and I dont know how i got here. Im lost and i need a place to stay for the night." Once again, there was no reply. I sighed as i headed off to the next building. But as i heard, I could hear...Children laughing? What were children doing out here in the dark? "Hello? Is anyone there?" I shouted as the giggling continued. I shook my head and decided to follow the laughs of the children. As the laughs sounded closer and closer, I was starting to get goosebumps. I feel that something wasnt right...

As I finally got closer to the laughs, they stopped. I was scared, yet confused. ''Hello? Is there anyone who can help me out?" I shouted as i received no answer once again. "You look funny, mister.'' A tiny voice said behind me as I nearly jumped out of my skin, turning my head around to find a child, a little girl. She had long brown hair to her shoulders, blue eyes that shined, and a cute little smile on her face. She wore a cute pink dress that was caked with mud, she didnt wore any shoes as if she was a peasant. In her hands was a small stuffed bear w/ black beady eyes, one of the ears looked as if it were torn off, and it had some weird red stuff on its mouth, as if it were a mouth, a smile. A red smile on its fuzzy brown furry face. "What are you doing out here, young lady?" I asked softly as the girl giggled. "Mommy said im not suppose to talk to strange creatures in the dark." She said as my eyebrow raised, confused at the reply. "Creatures?" I asked as she nodded. "Yup, what creature are you?" She asked as i smiled at her imagination.

"Im not a creature. I'm just like you except taller and not a young lady like you. My names Max, whats your name?" I asked her as the girl smiled. "My name is Susie Hatcher! My mommy gave me it because im her most precious girl in the world!" She laughed as I smiled at the cute girl. I bend down to her and asked, "Well, Mrs. Susie, Do you think you can help me out? I'm looking for a place to stay for the night." I asked as she nods. "Yeah just follow me, Mr. Max!'' She shouted as she skipped the way. I laughed as I then went to follow her. "Why is you hair so long, Mr. Max?" She asked as I chuckled. "Havent you seen any boy with long hair before?" I chuckled at her remark as she giggled again. "Nope, well... maybe Xam.. come to think of it, you kinda look like him.'' The girl said as I raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Who's Xam?" I asked as she stopped.

"I really should be getting home. Otherwise he might hear me talk to you bout him. Later Max!" She shouts, running off as I went to go after her. "H-Hey wait!" As I tried to follow her, she was hard to keep up with right before I lost her. Damn, she got away. I then heard a strange noise behind me. Almost sounded like, Radio static? I slowly turned behind me to find someone behind me. "Oh thank god, finally some help. Excuse me do you think you can help me out? I'm kinda lost for da nig..." Before I could answer, what was walking towards me, wasn't human. I don't know what the fuck it was or why it exists, but I knew I had to get away from this thing as soon as possible.

I then found an piece of string, a big stick, and a sharp rock. Maybe I could make a weapon. But I really had to act fast. I grabbed the rock and used the string to tie it around the stick as the thing got closer and closer. As it did, I used my weapon and shoved it against the things chest as it lets out a huge ear piercing screech as I threw the thing over my head, which was my chance to finally escape the thing. As I did, I could hear an alarm sound. "Max, wake up!" A voice said as I opened my eyes all the way, looking around only to see my half naked girlfriend looking straight at me. "You alright Maxie?" She asks as I just nodded. "Just a strange dream..''

But I thought to myself, why did it felt so real? And what did it all mean..?
