A/N: This is my first fanfiction although I've written other stories so just bear with me. I'm a heavy fangirl but I don't know every little detail about them so if I get something wrong, sorry. If you want to see more of me follow me on tumblr at fanofabitch. I mostly repost things surrounding ships but that's all I have to say so enjoy!

The last of the boxes that filled the living room were finally unpacked and put in there respective places. The boys were exhausted but still couldn't believe that they actually had their own place. Finally felt like responsible adults even though they've been touring without their parents multiple times.

They plopped on the black leather couch with heavy sighs that interrupted the sound of cars passing by. It was a nice house that sat on a hillside that had many neighbors but they barely seen them so it was as if they had the whole street to themselves which they liked.

"All settled in." Calum smiled looking up at the ceiling. He lied on his back nearly taking over the couch with Ashton sitting above his head upright, his head leaning over the back.

He let out a content chuckle and brung his head up to look down at Calum.

"Nearly Cal. Nearly." He stood with a grunt leaving Calum alone on the couch which he audibly objected to with a whine.

Ashton looked back at Calum in his whining state before continuing to walk up the steps to go to his room to retrieve his car keys. When he returned to the living room, Calum was nowhere to be found.

"Calum! Calum !" Ashton repeated until he finally heard Calum's voice announcing his presence which was in the garage that connected to the house.

"What are you doing in here?" Ashton asked as he watched Calum fix his shoelaces with slight trouble.

"I know we have to go to IKEA so I figured you were grabbing your keys so we could go. " Calum answered before hopping in the car with Ashton following suit.

During the car ride, Ashton was vibing to the classic rock he always played whenever he rode in his car. He sometimes listened to other music but there's no better feeling than being engulfed in the sounds of drums, guitars, and basses that cleansed his soul from whatever internal issues he was pondering about.

Calum seemed engulfed in his own thoughts rather than thrashing about like Ashton was. Ashton and him were the hyper spirited ones and that's why they were always together because their energy heavily complimented each other but today was different. Something felt off to him and all day he's been trying to figure it out.

"And we are here." Ashton announced, breaking Calum out of his thoughts luckily for him.

"Do we have a game plan for what we came here for?" Calum questioned as they walked inside the store, completely taken back by the amount of things that filled the building.

It was a Wednesday before noon so it wasn't too many people in the store which was good. They were both exhausted from unpacking and organizing from the night before and today's early morning. They never minded when they were approached by fans but they always wanted to be hyper and match the fans' excitement whenever they did come into contact with them but today was going to be a struggle if they did meet some.

"All we need is bedroom decor, bathroom decor, and bed sheets. We should be in and out within 45 minutes. So think of colors you want your room and we can pick the bathroom color together last."

Calum responded with a simple head nod and began thinking of what color he wanted his room. The first color that came to mind was white. Mostly for the sheets because without dating anyone he had a lot of pent up hormones and didn't need to incriminate himself.
