Title: Forever Green Author: L. J. Jacobson Type: Manipulated Genre: Fantasy Plot: A hunter from a city (medieval-ish) ends up trading his freedom to a witch in exchange to free his daughter from a curse. The city residents and witches who live in the nearby mountains have long been at odds with one another and keep killing each other. But the hunter begins to realize that the witch might not be as evil as she first seemed, and that more dangerous things lurk in the mountains than witches. Sort of a gender swapped Beauty and the Beast, with some European, Nordic, and Asian elements.
