"I've been watch you for some time can't stop staring at those ocean eyes."
I lay in bed looking up at the ceiling, my bottom lip trapped between my teeth. I lay thinking of the boy I ran into just yesterday. His brown hair laid perfectly on his head and swooped across his forehead. His perfect skin, tanned but still pale, glowed in the light. His smile and laugh brought joy and a small smile to my own lips. But there was one feature that got me. One that was so captivating.
His eyes.
The perfect shade a blue that couldn't be described better than what the ocean's colour was. Light and dark hues of blue lined up to make the human representation of pure perfection.
I closed my own eyes and imagined him. I didn't yet get his name. But his figure floated in my mind. His laughter echoed causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach.
He was, the only word that I could ever find to describe such a human, perfect.
I opened my eyes and sat up slowly. My legs found themselves dangling off the edge as I took one small leap and landed on the ground. I wonder if I'll see him today. I thought to myself as I walked into the bathroom. My reflection stared back at me, my normal light blue eyes that held less perfection stood before me.
My eyes were like the sky.
They changed from light blue to dark blue depending on the day and what mood I was in. Why can't they just stay a certain colour?
I sighed, grabbing my toothbrush and going through my normal morning routine. Brush teeth, brush hair, get dressed.
I slipped my glasses on but quickly took them off, deciding against the monstrosity of those black rimmed magnifying glasses. Sighing, I make my way outside. I check my pockets for all my necessities dinging my headphones, wallet, and my phone but I'm forgetting something... gasping, I raced to my room and searched frantically for the item. "Where is it?" I mumbled then I spotted it.
"There you are." I smiled then grabbed the camera that I now use for vlogging which is still completely new to me. I opened my camera and made sure I looked appealing to the camera then turned it on. "Hello! What's up you guys, it's Sam! Now, this video is gonna be quite slow since I'm not really doing much of anything right now but I guess I gotta get some content." And that's how my morning went. I talked into a camera and drive around just trying to find something to do and/or something to talk about.
The whole video was complete trash but I needed to get something out tonight or I'd be disappointed in myself and the 169k subscribers that I had would also be disappointed. So, as I stop at a gas station to fill up my tank, I turn my camera off and the car (I'm not trying to explode today), I start thinking back to my thoughts of this morning.
Those blue eyes came rushing back and that perfect smile blinded my thoughts. I didn't realise I was taking too long until someone honked their horn making me jump higher than I've done before. "S-Sorry!" I stutter out as I quickly take the pump out of my car, close the tank and quickly start up my car. I drive away and sigh out shakily.
I turn my camera back on, "Okay, so I know this day has not been productive but ya know, it's something. Oh! It's Driving With Sam!" I laugh at myself, "Okay, thank you guys so much for watching this video, if you liked it hit that like button, subscribe as well and don't forget to turn that bell on if you want to get notified when I post. Also, go follow my social media's in the link below! And I will see you next time, peace!" I put my hand in front of the lens then turned off my camera.
"Shitty vlog for my shitty YouTube channel." I sighed as I pulled into my driveway.
Later that night, I lay awake scrolling through my Instagram until a picture caught my eye. I stopped scrolling and saw it was him. I looked at the username, ColbyBrock. Hm. I stare at the picture unable to move my eyes from such beauty. I can't stop staring at those ocean eyes.
Those ocean eyes.
