(Scene II: It is the next day. Marinette and Alya are in front of the school. Marinette is being unusually quiet and distracted)
Alya: *confused* Why aren't you talking? Is something wrong? *mischievous* Is this about Adrien? Girl, if you want to talk to him, you shouldn't be scared!
Marinette: * has been zoned out for past few minutes* Hmm? Yeah... okay ... sure. *zones out again*
Alya:*sigh and facepalm* I swear, it's like talking to a wall!
(Adrien gets out of car parked in front of school. He looks like Marinette: zoned out and distracted.)
Nino: Hey dude! Woah, you look totally zoned out. What's up?
Adrien:*distracted* Nothing, Nino. Just didn't get a lot of sleep last night.
Alya: * eye roll* Apparently neither did Marinette.*glances towards Marinette, who is staring off into space**shakes Marinette's shoulder* Marinette! Come on, we have to go inside now!
Marinette: *jumps* Oh, sorry! *sees Adrien**ducks head and walks quickly inside*
Alya: What's that about?
Adrien: Dunno...*actually knows why*
Nino: Dude, I think she's avoiding you now. What happened?
Adrien: *agitated* I told you guys, nothing! *angrily walks inside*
(fade to black as Alya and Nino share a concerned look)
(scene change)
(Scene change: They are in Ms. Bustier's classroom. Marinette and Adrien are now avoiding each other. Alya and Nino are trying to figure out why Marinette and Adrien suddenly hate each other.)
Alya: *whispers to Marinette* What's going on? I thought you had a major crush on Adrien! Tell me what happened!
Marinette: *sighs then whispers back* It's just... he's not the person I thought he was... *trails off*
Alya:*shocked whisper* You HAVE to tell me everything later! I need to know!
Ms. Bustier: Quiet!
Alya: Sorry, Ms. Bustier! *whispers to Marinette* Later.
(fade to black as Marinette sighs)
(scene change)
(Scene change: Alya and Marinette are outside the Dupain-Chang bakery. Alya is bugging Marinette to tell her about her and Adrien's issues)
Alya: Come ON, Marinette, tell me already!
Marinette: I told you, it's kind of private!
Alya: Fine, but I WILL get answers sooner or later!
(Alya leave, Marinette sighs and goes up to her room)
Tikki:* flying out of Marinette's purse* Are you all right, Marinette?
Marinette: I'm fine, Tikki *flops face first onto her bed* just overwhelmed, I guess.
(Tikki shakes her head)
Marinette: *groans and rolls over* I can't sleep. *goes up to roof*
( Marinette goes up to the roof. She sees Cat Noir approaching. She sighs)
A/N: MARICHAT INCOMING! FLUFFYSTUFF AHEAD!
Cat Noir:*lands on roof* Um... hey, Marinette.
Marinette:*ignores him* Hmph.
Cat Noir: Look, I know you're mad at me... *waits for reaction*
Marinette:*looks at him**sarcastically* Well aren't you a smart kitty.
Cat Noir: ...I'm sorry. For everything. Please forgive me.
(Marinette waits a moment, then throws herself at Cat Noir and hugs him. Cat Noir is surprised for a moment, then hugs back)
Marinette:*whispers* I'm sorry, too.
Cat Noir: *laughs* What for?
Marinette: Everything. Avoiding you, pushing you away when you tried to flirt with me, every time I've yelled at you... everything.
Cat Noir:*strokes Marinette's hair* You're forgiven.
(fade to black & scene change)
