(Scene III: The next day there is an Akuma attack. Ladybug and Cat Noir save the day, therefore causing Marinette and Adrien to be late for school.)
Adrien:*bursts into the classroom* -huff, huff- Sorry, Ms. Bustier -huff, huff- running late -huff- overslept -huff-
(Marinette, who got to school a few minutes earlier, giggles because she and Cat Noir had just left the scene of the Akuma attack. She knew Adrien was faking it.)
Alya: *looks at Marinette, surprised* I thought you didn't like Adrien anymore... Girl, you need to make up your mind. Do you like him or hate him?
Marinette:*giggles again* I like him just fine. *catches Adrien's eye and winks*
Adrien:*smiles back*
(Alya and Nino are very confused by this)
Alya:*whispers to Nino* Do you have any idea what happened?
Nino:*shrugs and whispers back* No idea.
Adrien:*sits down*
Nino:*to Adrien* Dude, can you make up your mind? Do you like her or not?
Adrien:*surprised* Why wouldn't I like Marinette? She's pretty, she's smart, and she's a good friend. What's not to like?
Nino: Whatever, man. I just don't get you.
Adrien:*shrugs and continues taking notes on the lesson*
(fade to black & scene change)
(Scene change: Alya, Nino, Adrien, and Marinette are at lunch. Alya and Nino are still confused as to what's going on between Adrien and Marinette)
Alya: *watching Marinette and Adrien*
Nino: *watching Marinette and Adrien*
Adrien:*keeps glancing at Marinette**mutters* She's purr-fect...
Nino:*glances at Adrien**whispers* Dude, you got a head injury or something? You guys were fighting yesterday and now... now you're mooning over her??
(Marinette and Alya continue chatting across the table, oblivious to Adrien staring at Marinette)
(Marinette stands)
(the ground suddenly shakes and Adrien runs to Marinette, who is losing her balance)
Marinette: Eek!
Adrien: * catches Marinette* Going somewhere, M'Lady?
Alya: *gasps in shock* OMG. HE. CALLED. YOU. HIS. LADY!
Nino: What...?
Adrien : *still holding her up* Are you okay?
Marinette:*blushing* Err... yeah...
Tikki: *nudges Marinette's purse*
Marinette: Oh! I -er- gotta go! *dashes out of lunchroom**gives Adrien a pointed look as she runs out*
Adrien: I... gotta go to the bathroom...*runs after Marinette*
Nino:*talking to Alya* ... Isn't the bathroom the other way?
Alya: *suspicious* Yeah... what are they up to?
Nino:*shrugs* Dunno.
(fade to black as Alya gets up and follows Adrien and Marinette)
(scene change)
