*Jocelyn's P.O.V*

I let the note flutter out of my fingers as tears started to stream down my cheeks and a strange mixture of anger and sadness started to rise up in me. How dare the person who wrote the letter try to make a joke out of taking my parents, it wasn't even a funny joke 'parentnapping' what kind of goddamn idiot would find that funny?! I sank to the ground fighting the large amounts of tears that threatened to break my wall of composter, my brain was a mess, should I call the police, should I go or should I just ignore it and act like nothing has happened? The last thought made me let out a hiccup of a laugh, ignore it, how could I possibly ignore it, my house was a mess and my parents were missing.

I got up off the ground trying to remember the address that was on the note yet not wanting to actually read the note again so as to not see those mocking words again. Uptown, Kings Avenue, house no.1. I built up all the courage I had before pulling out my phone and dialling the taxi services number with shaking hands. I asked the taxi man to pick me up from the house next to mine  so that he wouldn't see the mess that my house was in. I walked out of the house and started to pace up and down the lane.

Maybe I should take Dean with me? No, I can't to that to her if these are the kind of people who would take your parents and then make a joke about it, I didn't want Dean getting mixed up with them. Plus I had a strong feeling 'secretary' Thomas was mentally ill, what kind of person would actually believe in the seren so much that they would become its imaginary  secretary.

I heard the sound of the taxi before I actually saw it, the taxi slowed down as it reached me and the driver rolled down his window before addressing me ''are you Ms. Edwards?'' he said his breath reeking so much of cigarettes that the stench hit me like a speeding truck. ''Yes, I'm her'' I said fighting my urge to wrinkle my nose. ''Well then hop in miss and tell me where you want to go.'' I straightened my back before glancing back at my house and then back at the taxi. I opened the taxi door and got in, ''Take me to Uptown, Kings avenue, house number one please.'' I said my voice cracking ever so slightly at the end. ''Sure thing miss.'' Said the driver before hitting the gas pedal.

I don't think I'm ready for this.

An: Thanks for reading this far. I'll have the next chapter up A.S.A.P. The song on the side  kind of describes Joes situation (not really but whatever it's a good song and it mentions a taxi driver that's all I need :p.) And the photo is of Jocelyn ( Georgie Henley).            FIGHTING!!! ^.^
