Part 7: Origins

"It's also incredibly dangerous and stupid!" We hear come from behind us in an angry voice. Due to the intensity and volume of the speaker it cause me to jump and turn around suddenly.
When I do I see what may be the prettiest girl I've ever seen, she doesn't look to old, pretty young in fact, if I were to guess she would be about seventeen or nineteen like me.
I don't realize it but I stare at the girl in awe, her arms crossed and face, even though it has an angry expression, it is absolutely adorable. Perfectly round cheeks and nice round chin with a little button nose, reddish brownish color hair that reaches her elbows, she also quite short, at least five feet and six to seven inches. She looks at me and scientist, I'm brought out of my entrance when I hear the scientist say "ah Emma, so glad you could join us" I look at the doctor and then back to her.
I see her drop her arms and walk into the room, she walks up in between me and the scientist and looks at me. I look down into her beautiful sky blue eyes as she stares at me. She looks down at my feet and back up to my face before turning back to the doctor and saying "this the one?" And nod her head towards me. The doctor smiles and says "yes Miss Bright, this is Jason Monahamme." She turns back towards me.
I suddenly straighten my stance and hold out my hand "hello Miss Bright, it's nice to meet you" I say and smile. She looks at my hand and raises hers up and uses the end of her fingers to shake mine "you too Mr. Monahamme, but please let's not be so formal, after all I'm just driver, so just call me Emma ok?" She says and smiles a little. I smile back and nod "of course, your the dri-" I stop as I think about what she said "wait what do you me-" I'm cut of as Emma walks away and the scientist says "we're so glad that you could join us Emma" Emma suddenly holds up a finger and says "ah ah ah, he can call me that because I'll be working with him, not you, I don't like you Lock" I look at the scientist and ask "Lock?" He says "that's my name in this facility" without looking at me "is that your actual name?" He shakes his head "all scientists have to have a code name, just like how blackwoods name isn't blackwoods" I look down and say "oh" quietly to myself. I look back up as I hear Emma say "so that's what all of this is about huh? That thing in there?" She says as she looks through the window and crosses her arms. Lock then walks up and says "yes, Zarra is the reason we have assigned you to this mission" I see Emma just nod and go "mhmm" she lifts one of her hands and puts it on her chin, I assume she thinking deeply about something. I turn around as I hear the door open and see Amanda and Samuels walk through "Amanda, Samuels, you guys are still here!" I say as I walk up to them, they nod and Samuels says "Amanda and I thought it would be best if we at least knew about what is going on here" I nod and look at Amanda as she says "yea thought it be best to make sure weyland isn't up to something" she says as she looks around. I watch her go and walk up to Emma, but lose focus as Samuels says "who's she?" And nods towards Emma " she's the pilot?" I say questioningly, Samuels just nods and walks off to another part of the room, looking at a screen. I see the doctor sitting at another screen and walk up behind him "what's going on?" I ask, he just shushes me and says "look through the windows and look at the sides of the chamber" I walk over to a window and look through, except instead of looking at Zarra I look at the sides of the chamber she's in, I see that there are many more scientists and marines, some working on screens some looking through the window in awe. I look back at the scientist and say "I still don't understand" he sighs in annoyment and turns towards me "we are going to tell and show you more about her, her-her, her origins! If you would" I nod and say "oh sorry" he nods and sighs and says "now wait for the others please" I look around and say "others?" But just as I do the door hisses open and three more scientist appear, along with a few more marines, and at the back of the group I see Blackwoods, who looks as serious as possible.
We then are told to line up and look out the window, we do so and look at Zarra, I see that Emma is on my right and looks just about as serious as blackwoods, while Samuels is on my left and smiling a little.
We all then hear Blackwoods behind us say "what you see before you is biological wonder, a human, crossed with the DNA of a xenomorph, but Mr. lock here will explain more about her" we then hear a few buttons being pressed and a screen appearing in the window, the screen shows all kind of photoes "on these pictures and diagram you will see the DNA, bone structure, and even muscle tissue, and as you can see to a comparison of human DNA" another screen appears and we see what looks like a normal and stable DNA cell, or at least what I assume is one. "These are the photoes of a average humans DNA cell and bone structure and muscle tissue" nailed it "as you can see, the ones combined with xenomorph DNA are very different" Lock's right, the one with xenomorph DNA in it is very hectic, and is very dark, while the normal humans is red like normal, another thing that is noticeable in the diagrams is that her bones seem to be stronger, more condensed and harder, another thing is that her blood is a different color, not a light green like normal xenomorphs, but instead very dark green, like camo, her muscle tissue is also quite large, even though she looks pretty skinny to the eye, she must be extremely strong like a xeno. "As you can see the xeno DNA has enhanced her abilities ten fold, she can run faster, jump higher, punch harder, and most important, kill those xeno bastards down below even better!" The marines all yell enthusiastically after lock says this "this is insane" I hear Emma whisper, while I hear Amanda go "this is ridiculous, how is this possible?! She's to dangerous! What if she can't control herself?!" I hear her say "I assure Miss ripely she's under control" I hear Blackwoods say "yes yes don't worry, here look" I hear lock say as another diagram appears, showing what looks like a chip attached to the stem of a brain "this is a behavioral chip and a motoral chip, it does just what you think, suspends and controls her motors and behaviors" "so you basically control her completely?" I hear Emma say" "oh no no no not completely, we can only administer a small shock if she were to do something....well bad" lock says and laughs "how did you make her?" I hear Samuels say, lock laughs and says "through combination of DNA, simple as that" I finally decide to speak up "you completely made her? You didn't like clone her or something?" I ask, I turn my head and look at lock "well, we of course had to have somewhere to start, so we found a willing subject" I get a little confused and look at Zarra on the table "what do yo-" I'm cut off by Amanda yelling "you mean you turned her into that!" Lock smiply just looks down, sighs, and says "yes, we found a willing girl and tested and experimented until we got her" my eyes grow wide and stare at all the diagrams and then back at Zarra, a xeno biological human, that was once just a normal girl, is now a weapon of mass destruction.
