Project Zactomorph: an alien and predator story

Part 3: Meeting Her (Warning: long one)

The long space travel to the station took about eight hours. Due to the fact that we have to go all the way around the planet that the mining facility. Along the way Blackwoods told me that the reason why it was on the other side was because the mining facility was on the other side, and that the station was directly above it. We didn't say much, I was really thinking about who Blackwoods was talking about the entire ride there. Who was she? Why is she called the Zactomorph project? What did he mean they were working on her for a very long time? I tried asking Blackwoods all these questions, but every time I opened my mouth to speak he'd say "all your questions will be answered soon son" so i eventually just gave up and looked out the window into space. We eventually got to an angle on the planet where I could see the planet and the sun of the solar system. The sun in this solar system was different though, It was much bigger than the one back in the Milky Way, most likely because every now and then an astroid would go into it, the Weyland corporation has tried to stop them, but have only managed to slow them down, but eventually they fear a black hole will appear, due to the very size and pull of that sun, but thankfully this system is far away from home, so we have nothing to worry about, at least for now. As I stared at the beautiful sight, I got a very compelling feeling to take a photoe, I always loved taking photoes of things, ever since I was a kid really. I remember for my 16th birth day my dad gave me a big old Polaroid camera that he said was from the 1980's witch surprised me since that was almost a hundred years ago, but I loved it, especially since that was the last thing he gave me, before he went on a job and disappeared, I still have that camera, but unfortunately i left on station the station down on the planet in a mad dash to escape those things, I quickly discarded the thought of them, Blackwoods must have know what I was thinking and leaned forward and said "I'm sorry about your things son" I look at him surprised and said "how did you know I lost some of my things" he smiles and says "because we were watching you from a satellite camera, I saw that you had a very old Polaroid camera from the 19 hundreds right?" I nod and say "yeah the 1980's" he chuckles and say "now where did you get a thing like that" I look down and say "my dad, it was the last thing he have me before he disappeared" Blackwoods smile disappears and says "oh, I'm sorry I didn't know it was that sentimental, I was planning on giving you this one but if you don't want it I understand" he pulls out a more modern Polaroid camera with a sliver lining around it from his bag that he brought onto the ship, I smile and say "no it's fine" I lean forward and take it from him, I look it over and smile, Blackwoods smile as well and says "I'm glad" i look up at him and say "thank you" and smile. He says "no problem, just trying to ease the pain of losing your old one I guess, did I ease the pain" I shrug and nod and say "I mean yeah, yeah ya did I guess, I like it" I look back at it and Blackwoods says "I'm glad, now if you don't mind, I'm gonna get some shut eye" I look at him, about to say that androids don't sleep, but I just shrug and look back at the camera and then the window, thankfully the ship hasn't moved much, giving me a chance to snap a picture of the sight, I hold it up to my eye and snap a picture, a second later a black piece of paper comes out, I take it and shake it a little, eventually the picture appears, I smile and slip it in my pocket. I look back at the window and slowly doze off.
I don't know how long I was out, but I was awoken to the feeling of Blackwoods hands on my shoulders and him calling my name "Jason, Jason wake up ,we're almost there, get up and get ready" I slowly open my eyes and say "w-what?" He sighs and says "we're almost there, come on get up, i picked out a few pairs of clothes for ya, now get up and get ready" I sit up and say "you, you what?" He sighs again and says "I picked out some clothes for ya form the supply room, now get up" I stand up and stretch and say "you didn't have to do that" he smiles and says "well I figured you'd want to get out of those, since you've been in them for a while" I nod and say "yeah, ever since I went down onto the planet" Blackwoods nods and says "well I put some clothes in that room, go get them on and meet me on the brig" I nod and say "yeah alright" I start to walk torwards the door, but Blackwoods stops me and says "and when you come back out we'll get you a new weapon, since you lost that as well down there right?" I nod and say "yeah my pistol" Blackwoods nods and says "we'll get another one, but an even better one" I smile and say "thanks" Blackwoods nods and says "no problem, now go and get dressed" I nod and head into the room. The door automatically opens up into the ceiling and I head in, the door closes behind me, I look around and see that it's just a small locker room, and on a nearby bench is some clothes. I walk over to it and pick out some clothes. A black T-shirt made out of a sort of silk material, I throw off my old grey one and put it on, it's snug and fits around me nicely, hugging my biceps and chest, after flexing a little I pick up a grey vest with a zipper down the center, it has a big yellow symbol of a W on the right side of the chest, I assume it means Weyland, I put it on and realize that it's a little padded, wich made my chest look a little bigger then it really is, I smile and look down and pick up a pair of black cargo pants, I throw off my old ripped jeans and put them on, I admire at how good they fit, although they seemed heavy when I picked them up, but they are actually quite light on my legs, they don't constrict my movement at all, and the extra two pockets are a bonus, I look down again and pick up a pair of military boots, they're black with Kevlar on the sides and steel toe'd, while mine are just brown work boots that aren't steel toe'd. I throw them off my feet an put them on, I'm amazed at how well they fit around my feet, not to small and not to big, I tie them and walk around a little, I smile as I feel them and see that they give me an extra inch in height, making me 6 feet tall. I smile and feel confident and walk over to a nearby mirror, I admire myself by flexing a little, the silk shirt doesn't hide my muscles at all, but the vest covers my chest a little. I smile and flex one more time before heading out of the room and torwards the brig, I pass a small dinning area before heading into the brig. There waiting is Blackwoods and a few other people, Blackwoods smiles and says "ah here he is" and two people look at me, one is a woman while the other is a man, the woman isn't very tall, brown hair and blue eyes, looks like she's in her mid twenties, very pretty thought, while the guy looks like he's about thirty maybe and blue eyes and brown short hair and is much skinnier than Blackwoods but is the same height, I look over at Blackwoods and he says "everyone this is Jason, the one I told you about" I look around and say "hello" the man is the first to say something "hello, very nice to meet you, my name is Samuels" he holds out his hand and I shake it and nod "nice to meet you to" the woman turns to me and leans against a nearby desk and says "I'm Amanda, Amanda Ripley" as I hear her name I think for a second, but shrug it off, since there's no way she's related to my mom since she went missing a long time ago. I shake her hand and look back at Blackwoods, he looks at me and says "now that you've met everyone, here's a present" he takes his hands from behind his back and holds out a modern six shooter, not like the cowboys but still a lot like it, and in the other hand is a leather belt with a holster attached to it, I take them and say "wow thanks" Blackwoods nods and helps me strap the holster around my shoulders and under my vest to hide it, I put the six shooter in it and say "thanks" Blackwoods nods and says "no problem" he turns towards everyone and says "alright, now when we arrive here and meet her, I don't want any back talk, no questions, no anything, just do as instructed and follow my lead" everyone nods except me. But didn't he say she would answer my question. I sigh in disappointment and sit down in a chair and strap in as we approach the station, I look on a nearby screen and see it, the station is enormous compared to the one we were just on, my jaw nearly drops but I hold it in place, Blackwoods says "alright everyone strap in, it's gonna get bumpy" and everyone does as he says and straps in in multiple chairs, including Blackwoods. He looks at me and smiles and nods. I look back at the monitor and see that we're pulling into a docking platform, when suddenly the ship rocks violently, shaking everything and knocking things over, after the ship stops rocking we wait a second until Blackwoods unstraps and says "alright let's go, Samuels, Amanda your with us on the station, everyone else, stays here" we all nod and unstrap and stand up. We head to the bulk door down the corridor, it opens up with a hiss and we walk in. Almost immidiatly we are greeted by a team of scientists and marines, the marines are well equipped with bullet proof vest and machine guns, they are actually very intimidating, and are obviously a higher rank than me. As we walk I hear Blackwoods talking to what I assume is the head scientist, but they're talking to quietly to make out what they're saying . Eventually we make a right down the corridor and into a very large room with machines and devices and wires every where, I notice that all the wires and machines all converge into a big glass chamber, a freezing chamber by the looks of it, but the freezing chamber has made it nearly impossible to see what's inside. As we all look at the chamber wondering what it is, four scientist walk over to a control panel and start pressing buttons, while one scientist, the top one from what i assume stands next to Blackwoods, they turn to all of us and say "I hope you are all ready, for what your about to see is bio science at it's finest" says Blackwoods, the scientist steps forward and says "this project took many months, almost two years infact but we have completed her" I hear Amanda say "what do you mean completed her?" Going against Blackwoods orders, but Blackwoods just says "she's a biologically genetic created creature, made entirely from this lab, and is created to destroy those creatures on that planet" I hear Samuels say "I thought Weyland wanted those creatures alive?" Blackwoods smiles and says "ah,yes he does, that's why we will be taking any small specimen we can, but that station is to important to just let it be ruled by those things, so we're going to need something designed to kill them, and that is why we created her" this time i'm the one who says something "what do you mean designed, is she an android?" The scientist chuckles and says "no my boy, she is genetically combined with those things DNA so that she can kill them" after the doctor says that we all hear a hissing sound come from the pod of it unlocking, I quickly say "what do you mean, are you saying you combined human DNA with those things" the doctor smiles and say "precisely" Amanda says "are you mad!" The scientist laughs and says "it is not I who is mad but the corporation my dear" and then we see the pod start to slowly open up towards the ceiling, letting out a cold fog role out, but as It accumulates to the temperature the fog disappears and reveals a pair of midnight black feet, but they don't look human, the heels are a little pointed and it has claws instead of toes, as the glass of the pod lifts up more it reveals a pair of midnight black shins with very smooth skin by the looks of it, eventually the glass moves up to reveal half the body of her, she's wearing a pair of grey shorts, and has very smooth skin by the looks of it, but as it reveals them I notice something appearing behind her, a tail, a ver long and jagged tail, longer than her legs, and by the looks of it, it has a very sharp and pointed tip, eventually the glass starts to reveal arms, and a torso. Whatever she was, she had very smooth skin by the looks of it, and very sharp nails coming from her fingertips, and so far, skin as black as night. And from what I started to see, she had abs as well, meaning that she was very strong. A few seconds later the glass revealed her arms and chest, for coverage of her breasts she wore a blue crop top, and from what I could tell, very strong arms, and very smooth skin. And finally the glass moved to reveal her head, her face looked quite pretty, she had short black hair and a cute face, almost as if she was a teenager. When the glass finally stopped moving above her head, we heard the scientist say "I give you Zarra, the Zactomorph" and after he says that we see her eyes open, they're completly green with a skinny pupil like a snakes eye. And as we look at her in astonishment we see her mouth open, and see it full of razor shape teeth and she says lightly with a soft voice "hello"
