Welcome to Rosehall

It had been a long summer for the teens of Rosehall filled with long days and boujee nights, each one making memories to last a lifetime. But as summer break had ended as of yesterday a collective groan could be heard from every house throughout the town of Rosehall on the dark and misty Monday morning signalling a new term had started.
Lights flickered on causing a faint yellow gold glow to emit from behind the curtains of each house on Sicily Street where four homes stood tall and proud facing inward toward the snowdrop littered roundabout at the end of the round. In each of the houses is a girl living next to her closest friends. The one, just to the left, with a wisteria tree stretching out its branches enveloping much of the front garden with a purple blossom and fragrant floral aroma; in this house is the girl who will give her insight into the life of a girl you want to be.

Irina Belle.

A girl that to many is seen as a tempting tall emerald eyed beauty with long cascading raven locks, an angelically sculpted face decorated with flawless features such as perfectly plump inviting pink hued lips, high check bones and a light dusting of freckles over her nose. Features that accentuated her curvaceous caramel body and made her laugh brighten even the dullest of rooms. However, crucially to Irina, she was simply Irina; a 16 year old girl in her final two years of school living next to her best friends with her whole life ahead of her, surviving the trials and tribulations of school, being a teenage girl and all the boys that come with it.

Irina (pronounced E-ree-na)
The groan that escaped my mouth was unavoidable as it was, after all, the first day of school. Waking up was a task in itself let alone getting ready. I like to look nice the same way some people like to read others like football or video games I like to shop, and preen to perfection - well as close I come to it. I find it interesting how clothes alone can give someone an instant opinion about without so much as speaking a word to you. No personality needed looks alone make
someone think whether they want to talk to you or not and as my mother says if someone makes an opinion on you within 8 seconds, make it a good one.
I was always a girly girl all 3 of my closest friends were, in our own way of course. We would often sit in Xanthe's attic dreaming up our fairytale wedding often to Disney princes - because come on Prince Eric - at just 5 years old and overtime our love of the same things simply strengthened our bond. However it has caused some drama like the time Sienna and Amara chose the same dress for prom, that caused a lot of fallout. Downstairs I heard the door open and 3 excited but slightly annoyed voices begin questioning my mom.

"Mellissa-" it was Amara "where is she I've heard of fashionably late but 20 Minutes is pushing it, Mr Grace is saying he'll leave without her if she's not quick." At first I was confused glancing at the clock it was 7:50 meaning I still had an hour to get to school, enough time to have breakfast, pick a good outfit, because according to Sienna there was at least 20 people joining our school and walk with the girls, there was no need for a catch-up we were literally in Xanthe's attic 10 hours ago.

"Irina!" They shouted in unison barging into my room with such force causes all the sheets on my desk to rush up in the air and fall in a chaotically unorganised heap.

"Hey my shee-"

"Forget the sheets!" Xanthe said while narrowing her hazel eyes and twirling her luscious chestnut brown hair, feigning a look of annoyance breaking into a grin then a giggle "You're late for the trip! Did you not remember the chat we had in the attic do you even check the group chat?"

My mouth dropped how did I forget the trip! Sienna's hasn't shut up about the trip and the chance to meet new boys she's been dated the majority of boys in our school since we first moved up to secondary school every single type of guy from the artistic hipster to the dumb jock - who was actually really smart - I swear this is the only reason she's coming.
