Okay I wanna clear a few things up so people aren't confused and thinking this story is unrealistic. So the roof has glass over it, it's not just a roof where they could talk to people outside, they're actually closed in. And the reason the police haven't come into the building is because they don't know if the bearded man has a bomb or anything, so they don't want to risk killing more people and destroying property. Hope this clears some things up.

Kinsley's POV

"Dude, just go!" Whitney whisper-yells to Calum.

We're currently sneaking down to the office to shut down the security cameras so he can't see us through them.

I get the feeling he's not too good with technology, considering he used the actual microphone for the daily announcements to talk to us through the speakers instead of hacking into the speakers.

I mean, I practically know how to do that. Granted, I have a super-smart, nerd-on-the-lowkey friend who's good at that stuff but seriously, if you're going to pull a crime like this you should probably know how to do that stuff.

As of now, Calum refuses to move from his spot against the wall. He was at a corner and he didn't want to turn to the next hallway because he was afraid. We were all lined up on the wall behind him, waiting for his sign of approval.

"Guys I told you I shouldn't go!" cried Calum.

"Okay but we needed both of the only guys we have because you're stronger and know how to defend yourselves." Whitney scolds, rolling her eyes.

Basically we decided that four of the seven of us should go, and Whitney and I were forced into it, meanwhile we decided Calum and Ashton should go because they were the only guys.

"Yeah but I'm pretty sure Jen knows how to defend herself better than I do." he rolls his eyes, speaking in a 'duh' tone.

Ashton and I just look at each other awkwardly, witnessing the two fighting but not actually being involved.

"Ok well I'll do it." I smile rudely and switch spots with Calum. I peek around the corner and see the coast is clear.

"It's fine Calum, gosh. Nobody's there." I chuckle.

"Whatever."

We laugh, quickly scurrying to the office.

I peek through the door, opening it slowly and stepping in.

Once i determine nobody else is in here, I hold the door for everyone else and shut it lightly.

"Okay, does anybody actually know how to do this though?" Ashton quizzes.

"I know a little bit." I admit.

"I think I can do it too. Me and Kins should be able to do it together." Calum smiles.

I notice Ash's jaw clench for a second. I look at him and smirk.

Now for the teasing.

I lock eyes with him and bite my lip, running my tongue over my lips afterwards.

I notice his eyes widen and he grunts softly, clearing his throat.

"Alright so I think we can log in with the secretary's account and do it from there." Calum says, searching the desk for a password book.

I notice an index card taped to the back of the computer monitor, out of sight.

"Here." I point.

"Nice," Cal high-fives me, "now we have to find which password it is.

"Kins, is it this one?" he asks, pointing to a username and password on the bottom of the card.
