I smiled at Mary in her ravishing white gown. Planning with Sherlock is not easy. She shooed us out as I took my place next to Sherlock. "Ready?" He held out his arm.

"As I'll ever be dear," I tip toed and pecked  him on the cheek softly.

"Honestly Sherlock!" I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Stop making deductions."

"Alice, Sherlock," John tiredly looked at us in his pajamas. "Go out, stop fighting." He sighed and returned to his room.

"Any second now," Sherlock glanced at his watch.

"You know what!" John walked out again. "Here's a case. Greg should be up now." He handed me a file. "2 in the morning, god," he mumbled before slamming the door. Sherlock eyed the case in my hand.

"Brilliant," he grabbed my hand. "Let's go on a walk." He helped me put my coat on before slipping on his own, popping the collar.

"Greg is going to be extremely tired Sherlock, try not to aggravate him more," I folded down his collar and put on his hat. "Ah, just kidding, about the hat, of course, keep your collar down dear." I intertwined our fingers and started off toward the Police Department.

"I love you," Sherlock stared straight ahead. "I don't tell you enough."

"You just express it through actions instead of words Love," I smiled at him. "I love you too." I hailed a cab.

"Does Greg even have a shift right now?" Sherlock furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yes, I was talking to him the other night," I put my head on his shoulder. He lightly smiled at me in return.

"Swan?" he asked me.

"Sure," I typed in another name on the guest list. "SHERLOCK! That's her brother! Why is he at a table of distant relatives? Oh! That poor man!"

"He hates her, they will hate him, what's done is done," He shrugged.

"You know what," I pulled my coat on.

"I'm going dress shopping with Mary

"I'm going dress shopping with Mary." I sighed and walked out the door, pushing past Sherlock on the way out.

"Alice!" He called, but I ignored him.

I smiled to myself and linked arms with Sherlock. "A case to end the day my love?" He kissed my cheek and slipped my matching coat over my shoulders. He popped his collar.

"Always," I smirked and we headed out of the boring reception, together.
