CHAPTER FORTY-TWO
"My heart is nearly as frozen as Cheryl's"Marley walked down the school corridor a slight bounce in her step as she made her way to Jughead's locker his manuscript in her hand.
"This is honestly one of the best things I've read in my life," Marley said approaching Jughead and Jughead looked at her and smiled before going back to his locker.
"Are you just saying that to be nice?" Jughead asked and Marley playfully rolled her eyes.
"I'm being dead serious, Jug, you can really do something with this," Marley said leaning against the locker next to Jughead. He closed his locker and gently kissed Marley.
"Just a small suggestion?" Marley said and Jughead groaned and Marley laughed.
"Literally, Just one suggestion," Marley said walking next to Jughead down the hallway.
"Just one," Jughead confirmed and Marley smiled before opening the manuscript revealing the red ink she used to make notes and Jughead's eyes widened.
"Okay, let's begin with the title," Marley began and Jughead playfully rolled his eyes.

After school Marley and Jughead were at Archie's house doing homework. Well Jughead was doing homework and Marley was looking online for a dress for homecoming.Jughead peered over to Marley's laptop and saw that she wasn't typing her history essay and raised an eyebrow.
"Isn't your essay due tomorrow morning," Jughead asked and Marley popped her gum and shrugged.
"Time is a social construct Jug, Mr Smiths tomorrow morning is my Monday morning," Marley said not looking up from her laptop and Jughead laughed.
"Remember in 9th grade when you said all school dances that weren't senior prom were stupid?" Jughead asked and Marley rolled her eyes.
"I stand by 9th grade me, they are stupid but I was thinking the both of us should go?" Marley asked biting her lip and looking at Jughead and he raised an eyebrow.
"Why?" Jughead asked and Marley tucked a curl behind her ear and shrugged.
"I've never been to one, I want to see if it's worth all the hype," Marley asked and Jughead nodded. Marley closed her laptop and tilted her head to the side."So, Jughead Jones the third, will you go to homecoming with me?" Marley asked blood rushing to her cheeks and Jughead chuckled before putting both hands on the side of her face and kissing her.
"I would love to go to homecoming with you, Marley Rose Davis," Jughead said once they pulled away and Marley smiled.
She looked at the time on Jughead's laptop and rolled her eyes.
"I've gotta go," Marley said standing up and putting her laptop back in her bag and Jughead raised an eyebrow.
"What why?" Jughead asked and Marley sighed while shrugging on her jacket.
"Driving Lessons," Marley said simply before kissing Jughead again. Jughead tried to deepen the kiss but Marley pulled away.
"You always do this, before I'm about to leave you try to make-out with me, and of course I obliged and then I'm late," Marley said and Jughead chuckled.
"So, there is no part of you that wants to make-out right now?" Jughead asked smirking and Marley rolled her eyes before kissing him again. Jughead tried to deepen the kiss again and this time Marley allowed him also deepening the kiss.
