You didn't come to school today which was a shock to alot of people. Your attendance was always excellent so the only reason for you not to come in would be your favourite character being killed off.

Clay had texted you a million times throughout the day, you always replied and this worried him that you didn't. The phone went straight through to voicemail and he sighed.  He didn't want to spend the last two periods of school worrying so he decided to bunk.

He took his bike and rode down to your house on the other side of town. Clay was a good boyfriend. He loved to take you to places and play with your hair. Despite being a weird kid, he was your weird kid.

Clay had a spare key and opened the door. Your phone was dead on the kitchen table. He ran up to your room and saw you laying asleep in your bed. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as he leant on the doorframe. He walked over to you and brushed a piece of hair behind your ears.

You moved your head a little and Clay realised you had a fever.
" Ah, y/n. You're ill." He whispered and kissed your forehead. Clay walked downstairs and started making mac n cheese for you. He knew you loved it most.

Clay heard footsteps come down the stairs, he turned and made eye contact with you. You were holding onto the doorframe.
" You should be resting, y/n." He smiled at you.
" I couldn't help it, i smelt mac n cheese." He walked towards you and kissed your forehead. You gave him a quick hug and then he went to put the mac n cheese in the bowl for you.

" Ta da , Madame, mac n cheese by the chef himself." He handed you the bowl and you giggled.
" Why thank you."

The both of you cuddled in the livingroom while you watched tv. He stroked your hair and kissed your forehead again. Clay liked doing that, and you liked him doing that.

"We are perfect together , you know?" Clay stated. You looked up at him and kissed him softly.
"We are."
