Chapter One

Catherine’s POV

‘’Oh my God, did you listen to the new song of Stereo Hearts?!’’ a blonde girl yelled through the coupe. ‘’YES I DID! Oh my God, I loved it!’’ another blonde girl yelled too enthusiastic. Great even through my music I could hear them clearly. It’s pissing me off that everyone were talking about ‘them’. I mean, what the heck is special about them? Only because they look ‘cute’ and ‘handsome’, o wait, they also have ‘talents’, make girls go ‘OH MY GOD’ all day long. Not to care about the surroundings. There are THINGS that are way more important than a stupid new song of Stereo Hearts.

Like the situation in Syria, the oil prices, the economic crisis, human rights, the conditions of employees in China and so on! Come on, what the hell is so ‘good’ about this boy band group? I just hated the attention they had. My mind would go crazy if I was infected by these fan girls. They are the worse. These girls created their own world where only their stupid bias of the group and themselves exist. Twitter was a way to try to get attention. How lame and foolish they are. Throwing yourself to someone you don’t even know. How can you call that ‘love’?

You know what love does with you? First, love makes you go up and down with these sick butterflies in your stomach. Second, love makes you feel happy, so happy that you can’t live without it. Third, love makes you blind, so you believe whatever you feel that looked right. Third, love can stab you in the back in seconds. Four, love makes you die slowly, to the fact that you don’t believe in love anymore.

Yes, that’s how love works.

‘’Oh my God! That girlfriend of Lucas cheated on him!’’ the blonde yelled. She yelled that loud that I could hear her perfectly fine. GREAT. Like I care about the damn gossips that continuously were causing my temper to boil up. It’s annoying. I begged myself that they would stepped out the next halt. Please, let them leave! ‘Won’t work anyway, the next new passengers would take place of the girls and continue to talk about the all mighty boy band group,’ God said in my head. Okay, it was not God who said that, but if he would respond. It would be like that.

I tried to ignore the people in the coupe and stared out the window, meeting the boring landscapes of the Netherlands. You are thinking that I’m a negative person, huh? Well if you know my reasons, you won’t hate me so much as you are right now.

Everyone has reasons to act like you are. The past decided how you think in the future. It’s up to you what you want, but people can make you stupid. Never in my life had I experienced so much pain. I believed every single part of it, but instead it was a life time of a joke. I was never so hurt in every way. I will never forgive him. He was the cause for me leaving town. Never in my life would I let love run my body and soul again.

I shook myself awake and noticed that we were near the airport. It’s the middle of May and I’m going to London. Layla asked me to come over and celebrate vacation with her. I couldn’t reject her. One, she was my best friend. Two, she would die alone in that big house of hers. Three, I couldn’t let her down.
