I'd spent the rest of that year and the next head over heels for Jesse. After a while the feeling seemed mutual, he'd bring me random gifts. He even made it a point to meet my parents, and talk to my dad regularly. It seemed like the perfect relationship until I started really noticing Jason.
"Alex, hey, hello, Babe are you even listening to me?" Jesse asked waving his hands in front of my face. I blinked a few times and foucused.
"Sorry I was thinking. What did you say Jess?" I smiled at him and laced my fingers through his. Jesse sighed and kissed the back if my hand.
"I asked if you're going to the party with me tonight after prom. I'd hate to go alone, especially when my girl is the life of the party." Jesse shot me a quick smile that meant trouble. I laughed and nodded, there wasn't much I could do after prom.
"Yes I'm going, I can't leave you alone with all those terrible females. No need for senseless violence." I kissed his cheek and headed to the senior board to check the date. Not that it was hard to forget prom was on Kelsey's birthday. She was away at college so I got a hall pass to miss the skype call.
"You check it everyday, and everyday it's the same. April 16, it's fairly easy to remeber." Jesse laughed and shook his head. I rolled my eyes and wandered back towards him.
"Everyday I kiss you, and everyday it's the same. But you still kiss back. it doesn't have to change I still like to see I'm not crazy." I sat next to him on the bleachers. We always wandered out here after a rally. Translation, once every two weeks.
"Not true, some times it's just a kiss other times you let me hold you." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. I shoo my head and laughed. "What?"
"Sometimes I forget to tell you to stop and you get your hand under my shirt. That's different, and quiet rare." To prove my point I pulled him to me and kissed him. Jesse instantly pulled me on his lap and slid his hands under my ass. "Mm hands off."
"This better?" He slid his hand up the back of my shirt. I pulled back enough to get his attention. "Okay i'll stop. You know most couples out age who've been together this long have had sex."
"Mmhm and how well did that work for Brianna and Rachel? I'm keeping you out of my pants." I climbed off of his lap and sat next to him. Jesse rolled his eyes and suppressed a sigh.
"What about skirts?" He arched an eyebrow in question. I shook my head no and slid away from him a little more. "Okay I get it no sex in high school. I won't ask again, come here."
"Can't, I gotta get going I have a lot of shit to do before tomorrow. Unless you want me to look like hell." I kissed his forehead and half ran to my car. On the way there I passed Jason and ran into a poll.
"Alex!?! Are you okay? Where's Jess? Why were you running?" Jason fired off questions like a Fourth of July fireworks show. I sat up and rubbed my forehead.
"I'm fine Jason, Jesses on the bleachers, and I have pre-prom bullshit. You're going right?" I gave him a pleading look. When he nodded I pulled him into a tight hug. "Yes! Okay, good. I'll see you tomorrow night."

"Mom I'm gonna be fine. Jason will be there too, I'm sure, okay mom, love you too, bye." I hung up the phone from my mother. She apparently figured out I was gonna be gone all night.
"Is she still freaked out?" Jesse asked straightening his bow tie. I nodded and sighed. (My mothers worry happy). "Doesn't she trust me tinting you home safely at 1:30?"
"Jesse if you had a daughter going to prom with a living breathing walking ball of trouble wouldn't you be worried?" I hated to admit it but Jesse was as much trouble as me. He looked amused.
