"Hahahah." I'm sitting at the lunch table with my friend Alexis, Lenny, Julie, and Jordyn. I can't lie. I have a lot of friends. But I don't want friends. I'm slowly starting to ease myself away from them. The only one who I want to keep as my friend is Alexis.
I have dated a lot but only to be hurt so I stopped. "Waiting for the right guy" I guess.
*phone buzzes*
"Get your ass straight to the car because I have work"
I look down in disgust as I read this text message from my brother. He's only two years older than me. "I always do Cory." (Sorry if this is boring I promise it'll get better)
My brother drops me off at the theater and my mom is late to pick me up. So I'm sitting at a place, that's a really bad place. It's...what's the word...ghetto. My mom finally gets there after 15 minutes.
"Why were you late?"
"I lost track of time"
"Wasn't I important enough to be remembered"
"Hahahahahahahaha! You wish! You are nothing to me. I keep you because your grandmother makes me"
Now where as everyone else in the world hates me, my grandmother is the one who cares.
My mom keeps on going on and on and on. Oh well. Just more of a reason to cut whenever I get home.
The pain is remarkable. It feels so good. I love the little blood droplets.(: it's...it's not complete. I must...I need...to do more...
I'm dying my hair black in a few weeks(: apart of becoming a new person. I go to school the next day.
I'm at my locker and I glance over and see this kid next to me trying to get his locker open. "Need help?" I ask him.
"Uhm....sure." Wow. What was that? I guess he just didn't want to catch my ugly.
"There you go. Don't worry I didn't memorize the combination."
"...thanks"
"Whatever"
Wow. He seems a little rude. I'll just stay away from him.
I walk into geometry. It's been about a week since Drake left. He was my best friend. I loved him. We dated once. For about eight months. But he moved on quickly after and we stayed friends. But I love him. And always would. But his parents made him transfer to Little Creek for their sports program.
So he's gone. I always look over at his empty seat. Hmm.
Wait? Who is that? Why is someone in his seat? That's HIS seat.
Oh..it's that new kid...great...the sweetest guy got replaced with him.
"Class this is Mr. Alex Geoferry. Nikole, you teach him the ropes" he looks over at me with a smirk. Great a cocky dude.
"Hey" he comes over into his seat and sits down like he owns the place.
"Hi" I groan in disgust. "That's the teacher. This is geometry. We learn about shapes. Got it? Okay.
During lunch, all the guys like you sit with the popular girls. Trust me, you'll know who they are"
~~~~Alex's POV~~~~~
Woah...this chick is harsh...what kind of guy did she think I was? But I guess that's good. Now I'm not the freak, or the emo guy. Amazing what simple hair dye can do. I guess I found my place. During lunch, I met Cameron. Obviously the popular guy. And then I met the popular girls. Kind of...obnoxious..I don't know if this is the group I wanna be with. But I'm already here. Oh well. It's only ninth grade. Besides when I get home, I can be who I truly am.....
