Hugs and Misses

Dan walked around their home, bored out of his mind. Gerard and Frank had just left, leaving the brunette alone in the big house. He let out a sigh. He missed Phil. But sadly, his boyfriend was on an important business trip and wouldn't be back until that Monday, which was two days away. He'd already been gone for 3 days. Dan frowned and went to their bedroom, laying down on the bed. He couldn't let himself get into headspace, Phil was supposed to call sometime around 8.

Dan took his laptop from his desk and laid on the bed, sitting cross cross. He was already in his pajamas, a simple white shirt and boxers with his favorite blue and pink dotted socks. He then logged on and brought up Skype, clicking on his husband's name. He waited for the call, it already being a little over 8 o'clock. He could feel his eyelids droop and a few moments later, he had fallen asleep.

Meanwhile, Phil was saying goodbye to his friends, thanking them for dinner. He wished Dan was there with him, but sadly he was not. He was at home alone. Phil let out a sigh and realized the time. He cursed softly under his breath and walked into the hotel, hurrying into the elevator. The ride was short, though it felt long to Phil. He went to his room, unlocking it. He closed the door, taking off his jacket and throwing it on to a chair. He found his laptop and quickly logged in, clicking on the Skype icon. He called Dan, excited to see his husband's face. He had a large grin on his face. But it kept ringing, the call ending. He frowned a little. He called again, thinking that maybe Dan was just doing something and wasn't near his laptop at the moment.

Dan could hear ringing in the background. He grunted a little, annoyed that whatever it was had interrupted his dream. He and Phil were together, walking along a path of flowers. It was romantic and sweet. He really missed Phil... Phil! Dan shot up, noticing that on his laptop, a certain man was calling. He answered it, still a little bit sleepy.

"Bear!" He said, a big smile on his face. Dan blushed and waved a little. "Hi daddy..." He says. He yawns. "You sound tired bug, were you sleeping?" The older man asks, worried that he woken up his husband from a peaceful sleep. Dan shakes his head though.

"No, I was just resting my eyes." He giggles. Phil laughs a little. "Well, I'm glad you got some rest... I really miss you bug. I can't until Monday, I just want to kiss and hug you right now." Dan nods. "Me too... Can't you just leave and take a plane home? I thought you were the boss of everyone!" He whines, sad and really missing the touch and smell of Phil.

Phil just shakes his head and smiles. "No, it doesn't work like that. I wish though, I wanna cuddle with you. But soon, bug. I'll be home in just two days!" He says with a smile. Dan nods and sighs.

"I know... I love you so much, Phil." Dan says, grinning a little. "I love you more. Now, get your sleep. Dream of me, okay bug? I'll be home before you know it."

"Okay..." Dan sighs and blows a kiss. "Goodnight Philly." He lets out a yawn and Phil disconnects the call, but not before hugging the camera, making Dan giggle.

They both fell asleep, looking forward to Monday. That was new. They dreamt of each other; eating ice cream, holding hands and walking through flower paths.
