The pair were currently in their living room, getting ready for a move night. Phil had chosen the movie this time and was supposed to be putting it on. Dan was sat on the couch, laughing slightly at his husband who was having trouble with the TV.

Dan looks over at Phil, smiling sweetly from his spot on the couch. Phil was standing a few feet away, in front of the TV, fidgeting with the remote to get the movie going. He cleared his throat.

Without looking at him, Phil sighed and asked, "What do you want now?"

"When you're done, would you mind grabbing the chocolate from the kitchen? Thanks, love ya!" Dan said in his sweetest tone of voice. Phil looked over and raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want some? It's late and there's a lot of sugar..." He said, looking away again.

Dan scoffed. "Late for normal people but I don't think twelve o'clock counts as late for us." He sighed. "And I promise to share with you." Dan offered but Phil shook his head.

"You're right I guess. But, you already have popcorn and soda. I mean, chocolate on top of that? Not very healthy." Phil hadn't turned around and was still fiddling with the TV but Dan could tell he wasn't acting like his usual self. Usually, this wouldn't even be a conversation. Phil would be the one to even bring up getting another sweet snack. Why was he against it all of a sudden, even going as far as to comment about what Dan had already eaten?

He frowned, staring down at his feet. "Phil... Are you trying to tell me something, like...weight wise?" He asked, his voice small.

This time, Phil finally turned around. He dropped the remote on to the space next to Dan and crouched in front of him.

"Of course not! Love, you're perfect the way you are. Nothing could make me love you less, alright? Not even a little. Why would you say that?" He seemed so concerned and loving, Dan felt bad he even thought of that in the first place. Phil was too good for that, Phil loved his body if any of the millions of times he said it counted.

"I just- You're suddenly against me eating chocolate. I don't know, I don't why I'm making it a big deal." He looked into Phil's eyes, blushing a little at his caring gaze.

"No, it's good. I'm sorry I made you feel that way, I love you and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings but I kinda accidentally ate the chocolate already and didn't want you to know since you really like that kind, I'm so sorry love please don't be mad." His husband said all one breath, leaving Dan confused trying to catch up with his words.

"Wait, what?"

"I'm sorry! I couldn't help it, you know me! I'm not that strong-willed!"

Dan blinked a few times before letting out a loud laugh. "Oh my God, you're terrible. Really." He smiled a little, pecking a light kiss to Phil's cheek. "You made me think that you were trying to tell me I was getting fat or something."

Phil's eyes widened slightly. "Dan I'm so sorry, I didn't mean that. I wasn't trying to say that, you're beautiful and I never want to make you feel that way or think that you shouldn't eat as much because you're scared of gaining a few pounds. I wouldn't care, unless it effected your health, but other than that it wouldn't make me think any less of you."

Dan sighed and hugged him. "I love you Phil, I know you didn't mean it like that. But doesn't make me any less upset that you ate my chocolate." He pulled back and faked a glare.

Phil winced and smiled bashfully. "Would it help if I said it tasted good?"

"That makes it worse, now I want it even more!"

They spent the night in each other's arms, Phil mumbling random compliments and Dan loving every moment with his husband.
